El día 15 de Abril se realizó un Meet-Up de la Blockchain Polkadot en Bitcoin Café,
Caracas - Venezuela.
El lugar más idóneo para hacer un evento del ecosistema cripto.

As every Tuesday and Thursday, today we bring you a blog post from our team ☺️.
On the 15th of April a Meet-Up of the Blockchain Polkadot was held at Bitcoin Café, Caracas - Venezuela.
The most ideal place to make an event of the crypto ecosystem.
Meet-Up Polkadot
El horario del evento según la invitación era de 2:00 pm hasta las 5pm. Allí estuvimos
compartiendo con varios usuarios de #Hive y otros que hacen vida en la Web3 en general.
Ya saben haciendo networking y seguir apoyando y aprendiendo 🤓
Inicio el Meet-Up con una presentación de nuestra Hiver Arlette Salas (Embajadora
también de Polkadot) donde nos habló un poco sobre las diferencias de la Web2 y la Web3;
respondimos también algunas preguntas sobre la seguridad en cuanto el dinero dentro de
las Wallets en el ecosistema cripto.
Luego de eso pasaron el resto de los ponentes. Un total de 3 panelistas, los cuales nos
enseñaron a modo de cápsulas lo que era el Ecosistema de Polkadot (Alexis Landaeta,
Yovanny Renaud y Vitaly Bulatov) o al menos hicieron lo posible por explicarlo todo en tan
solo 3hrs 🥵Lo cual agradecemos bastante, sabemos que no es cosa fácil explicar todo en corto tiempo.
Meet-Up Polkadot
The time of the event according to the invitation was from 2:00 pm until 5pm. There we were sharing with several #Hive users and others who make life in Web3 in general.
You know networking and keep supporting and learning 🤓 I start the Meet-Up with a presentation of our Hiver Arlette Salas (Ambassador also from Polkadot) where she talked a bit about the differences between Web2 and Web3; we also answered some questions about the security of money inside Wallets in the crypto ecosystem.
After that the rest of the speakers came up. A total of 3 panelists, who taught us as capsules what was the Polkadot Ecosystem (Alexis Landaeta,
Yovanny Renaud and Vitaly Bulatov) or at least they did their best to explain everything in just 3hrs 🥵 Which we are very grateful for, we know it's not easy to explain everything in a short time.

Experiencia:
Desde la bienvenida hubo refrigerio donde compartimos unos ricos tequeños, botellas de agua y café ☕.
Ciertamente, lo mejor de estos eventos, además del aprendizaje, es poder compartir con
nuestros compañeros del ecosistema y conocer un poco más sobre los beneficios que en
este caso ofrece Polkadot.
Y no podía faltar tampoco en un evento cripto, la famosa Merch que en esta oportunidad
eran unas bellas franelas blancas y unos lindos stickers para no olvidar el evento ☺.
Experience:
From the welcome there were refreshments where we shared some delicious tequeños, bottles of water and coffee ☕.
Certainly, the best thing about these events, besides learning, is to be able to share with our colleagues in the ecosystem and learn a little more about the benefits that Polkadot offers.
And could not miss either in a crypto event, the famous Merch that this time were beautiful white flannels and cute stickers to not forget the event ☺.
Un poco más de Polkadot
Como ya saben, Mayvileros no hace vida en esta Blockchain. Sin embargo no podemos dejar este #TBT de la semana sin explicar un poco a nuestros usuarios lo que aprendimos respecto a qué es Polkadot 😎.
Ante nosotros tenemos una Blockchain bastante peculiar, ya que lo que la distingue de otras es que busca crear escalabilidad y funciones a Blockchains ya existentes.
Creada por Gavin Wood al salirse de #Ethereum, Polkadot funciona bajo el protocolo de NPoS (Nominated Proof of Stake).
En ella existen 4 tipos de nodos para poder dividir las tareas que la Blockchain tenga que ejecutar.
También, ofrece un sistema de
Parachain (que es donde se alojan las otras cadenas de bloques y te permite también crear tokens y contratos inteligentes).
Realy Chain que es la unión de todas las Parachain de todo el proyecto en una sola red.
Y los Bridges los cuales son los canales de información de las distintas Parachains.
El Token nativo de esta Blockchain es $DOT y aunque aún no ha tenido (al parecer) el alcance que quieren, se posiciona en el mercado como una Altcoin importante a futuro, de hecho está entre las más ecológicas en gasto de energía.

A little more about Polkadot
As you already know, Mayvileros does not make life on this Blockchain. However we can't leave this #TBT of the week without explaining a bit to our users what we learned regarding what Polkadot is 😎.
Before us we have a rather peculiar Blockchain, since what distinguishes it from others is that it seeks to create scalability and functions to already existing Blockchains.
Created by Gavin Wood when leaving #Ethereum, Polkadot works under the NPoS (Nominated Proof of Stake) protocol.
In it there are 4 types of nodes to be able to divide the tasks that the Blockchain has to execute.
Also, it offers a Parachain system (which is where the other blockchains are hosted and also allows you to create tokens and smart contracts).
Realy Chain which is the union of all the Parachain of the whole project in a single network.
And the Bridges which are the information channels of the different Parachains.
The native token of this Blockchain is $DOT and although it has not yet had (apparently) the scope they want, it is positioned in the market as an important Altcoin in the future, in fact it is among the most ecological in energy expenditure.

Que curioso ver algo relacionado a Polkadot aquí en Venezuela, creo que la última vez que supe los mencionaron fue en la CaracasBlockchain y me entero que la misma Embajadora de Polkadot en este país es Arlette!! 😮
Puede que ella misma lo haya dicho en sus redes sociales pero, no estoy tan pendiente de allá. 😅
