To many who follow crypto they are aware that Warren Buffet is not a fan of crypto. Not so much that he outright speaks negative things about crypto as a whole. Yet here today there is news Warren Buffet's Berkshire Hathaway is investing in a Brazil Bank that is crypto-friently. The bank is called Nubank.

Nubank

Nubank has 40 million customers and is consider currently the largest Latin America digital bank. Nubank head quarters is in Brazil and its main services are credit card, cash bank rewards program, and serve its customers as a digital bank. Presently Nubank is evaluated as a $30 billion company.

Berkshire Hathaway is purchasing a stake in the bank in the tune of $500 million. Nubank since its creation has always focused on being a tech company. With the recent acquisition of Easynvest the bank will soon setup the ability for their customers to directly purchase and sell cryptocurrency. This basically means the bank will also become a trading brokerage of cryptocurrency.

Money is money and where there is potential for more is in the crypto space. If Warren Buffet and/or his Berkshire Hathaway sees this it only gives further proof that cryptocurrency will thrive in the future and bring prosperity to those who are investing in them.

None of this is cryptocurrency investment advice. This is for entertainment purposes only. Thanks for reading.

maybe he is considering a stable coin... unlike the very volatile types such as bitcoin.

now that I think of it,
he didn't approve of bitcoin and its volatility.
he didn't say anything about cryptocurrency just yet.
he said bitcoin was ordinary air.
we both know that it is based on supply and demand.

Of course he is as well as every other billionaire. To them picking up crypto is stupid inexpensive and a side project. why not talk shit about it and get it at a discount and then hype it the F up when you own a large stake and cash in.

Warren Buffet is my role model when it comes to investing

I jokingly told my partner I was going to live the way he does, once, and today, while I was setting my financial goals, I remembered these words and smiled to myself

When I saw this post, it felt like fate was reminding me of my words

Anywhere there is a potential to amass more wealth, one should put his money there

So I stand with him if he is doing so in crypto as well whether directly or indirectly

So even those talking bad about crypto are wise enough to ensure they have a peice of the pie even if only indurectly

One of Buffett's first big investments was in "Blue Chip Stamps." These were stamps that businesses would give out to customers for loyalty rewards. The customers could then redeem for goods.

So, his first investment was the 1960s equivalent of a token.

I think crypto will sneak in everywhere no matter even if you didn't realise you were investing in it anyway. The crossovers are going to happen more and more frequently as it becomes more entrenched. People will be using blockchains even when they have no clue.

He is the notorious example of the saying: "It backfired" and although he has no faith in cryptocurrencies, his investments say otherwise.

Well, if he doesn't understand the technology, he does better to invest in someone/somewhere that has more knowledge about bitcoin, blockchain...
Banks will finish to be the intermediary for most people who doesn't want to understand the new way to use technology in your favour.

I doubt he cares about crypto. He might be indirectly investing in it but I'm pretty sure it's because Nubank are making money rather than their Bitcoin interest.

I have a few thoughts on where to begin with this. One of three things happened here:

  1. These guys are just old and didn’t remember what they said earlier.
  1. Bershire took a lot of heat by badmouthing something that had made a whole lot of people money, just not their investors. With this bad press, Buffett saw the light and got on board. I mean hey, kidnappers gonna kidnap, why not make some money.
  1. Could it just be the 90 year old “Oracle of Omaha” is better at the game than any of us? Did he just make Elon Musk look like a high school kid running a lemonade stand? Maybe he pulled the final card he had to play at his age and ran down crypto’s price for his last great move.

I like to think that billionaires are normal people who just got rich.

Yes if everyone could so many would and they wouldn't be celebrated so much.

That said I don't he knows just exactly what he is doing
