Splinterlands SPS staking updates!
The next update in Splinterlands is set on July 6th and it will include the new sps staking counted toward earning rewards.
This means collection power for holding or delegating cards no longer matter therefore people will demand more sps.
Two big items to know in this upcoming update.
All players can play through any league as long as they have sufficient ranking points.
Sps staked chart has been revised a little where at 10x earning is equivalent to current rewards but if you staked sps is in the 12x column you can earn up to 13.3x more in rewards which equates to about 33% greater in rewards.
The second feature is one that stands out to me the most. The fact that a player can now earn even more but play is the same is amazing.
Of course a glazed over the delegating sps portion but fyi players can delegate sps also come July 6th. This allows staked sps more utility and worthwhile to be locked up.
I knew the day would come soon enough after hearing talks of its introduction a month ago. So I was prepared to get at least gold 1 at 10x reward status with a little under 59k staked sps. I am currently at 58.5k as I bought a bit over the month. I hopefully will hit goal by tomorrow around the update time. What about you? Have you gotten enough staked sps?

This is going to do a ton for the game and token economy in the long term. Feeling bullish!
It's a very good thing the way we see his team working very hard as the market starts to go up now we'll see all of his stuff go up as well.
These changes will attract more users and will enhance currently playing players interest back in the game.
Oh, it looks like the changes will be happening soon. I didn't realize it was coming so close but I hope we get more SPS because people don't have the requirements. I also wonder what will happen with the bots.
