Crypto Diary #5 - 2020 - Part 2: A new hope

Continuing in 2020, we had Steem's hardfork, creating Hive.

Most Steem developers / witnesses have migrated to Hive, including several tribes, such as LeoFinance.

With the developers also migrated to Hive several Dapps.

Steemit Inc continued to mobilize the community, investing more in dapp Steemit, and in its social activities.

Hive has been worked on by Blocktrades, and together with several developers has also been doing interesting work. Giving its own characteristic to the protocol, in addition to being a copy of Steem.

For me financially it was not bad, because the hardfork reduced the losses with the devaluation of the steem. Since the two same depreciated, the hardfork kept the same price.

Initially I was unsure which to follow. Smaller fish pay little attention to the two protocols. Another issue is the development of the protocol in the long run.

With these issues, following the development of dapps like LeoFinance and other dapps like Ecency, Splinterlands, Dcity, cryptobrewmaster, risingstargame, 3speakonline, dapplr, rabona, peakd, and so on ...

Hive has been worked on by Blocktrades, and together with several developers has also been doing interesting work. Giving its own characteristic to the protocol, in addition to being a copy of Steem. Blocktrades is working intensively on the blockchain code Hive, making its code more specific and unique, differentiating it from Steem's code.

LeoFinance and its integration with Uniswap, community power, and dapp development is really cool too.

For these and others, I decided to go on my way here at Hive. Focusing on LeoFinance and Ecency, and open to new possibilities!

I hope that the consensus this time works and that Hive can become much more than Steem once was.
