Today I bring you a reflective Thursday. We are in the existence of a postmodern utopia, which to my discursive musings is not real, it is a mirage of the incommensurability of life. And the fact is that our epochal context requires us to assiduously transit in self-reflections, in the face of the uncertain complexity of life that brings to the forefront time and again unknown scenarios for the constant flowering of rethinking and re-signifying our existence.

Traveling and going through philosophy has planted in me the need for eternal doubt, that which makes me go back and forth between questioning, and discarding limiting and stagnant thoughts, many of them entrenched in obsolescence, giving way to renewed trends and unfinished visions of life. I like the advantages and opportunities of the unfinished, as an expression of dynamism and a reflection that everything is constantly changing and nothing is permanent.

Today, I enjoyed the experience of going through everyday life, observing it, and participating in its multidimensionality of landscapes that intermingle between contradiction and genius.

Worldviews germinate and are externalized by exposing themselves to their own interpretation, to generate contributions to the different views, giving value and sustenance to what is seen. The biological, social, and cultural universes flow interconnected and are so charitable in their malleability that they allow to give shape and interpretative sense, to scrutinize and investigate and thus reveal the extraordinary in the ordinary.

It is in the everyday canvas, where the physical space that lives and means day by day coexists with its inhabitants, in a past that evokes, a present that expresses, and a future that aspires. For me a delight to my senses, curiosity, skepticism, and passion for the plurality of nuances that emerge all of them in the tapestry of the everyday. All a power for sensitivity and understanding. Here there are no trifles, everything has value because it is related, and interconnected.

I enjoy seeing the enthusiastic people, on the street at all hours, many lives spinning the tapestry that unites. Almost in unison the nuances and shades of human nature emerge, like a film before my eyes, nourishing my gaze.

Some walked with a hurried gait, with contracted muscles and clenched fists, resembling mechanized robots, denied the opportunity to give a cordial greeting, unrestrained and accelerated, refractory to the possibility of flowing and indulging in the happiness that comes from the little big things. They moved like automatons through the superfluousness of convulsive living.

Others, on the other hand, were happy and chirpy, laughing and enjoying, sharing with friends, boosting their energy with a good conversation.

There were also the quiet and calm ones, sitting with all the parsimony, in fullness, without haste, enjoying the goodness of establishing the ancestral connection that comes from being sheltered by a big tree.

These were the nuances that emerged on Thursday from everyday life, dissimilar contrasts that I not only saw but also felt. And ending this sharing, keep in mind that happiness is in the little big things, they are moments, and it is not a planning of years of perfect situations, being happy is a choice and therefore depends on you. You will be as happy as you decide to be. Do not waste time, try to be happy in your day-to-day life, nothing is perfect, life is imperfect and we are also exquisitely imperfect.
