Isabella paso de año!!! [SPA/ENG]

Hola queridas madres y padres de Hive!

Hace bastante tiempo que no paso por aquí, algunos problemitas personales me han tenido ocupada pero ya poco a poco se van resolviendo, pero hoy vengo por que es una ocasión super especial!

Ya les conté que vivo en Brasil, y aquí el periodo escolar empieza en febrero y termina en diciembre, así que para esta época del año Isabella recibe sus notas finales para luego salir de vacaciones escolares. Este 6 de diciembre fuimos a buscar las notas y nos encontramos con que ella aprobó todas las materias y no tuvo que ir a recuperación.

Eso nos hizo muy felices, y es que Isabella es una niña muy inteligente, para mi no fue una sorpresa, en mi mente tenía seguridad de que ella no reprobaria ninguna materia, pero ella sí estaba un poco nerviosa, pero al verse en el cuadro con la indicación de "aprobada" y que además fue por sus propios méritos, el concejo de profesores no fue que la ayudó, sino que ella misma sacó buenas notas la hizo sentir super orgullosa.

Este año escolar fue bueno, al principio se tuvo que adaptar a un nuevo horario, pues antes estudiaba por la tarde, este año estuvo por la mañana, y se sintió sola durante los primeros meses, pero luego hizo unas amigas que la hicieron sentir querida y pudo disfrutar de su experiencia escolar de lo mejor posible.

Una cosa que quería contar también es que para final del año escolar hubo una actividad especial para hablar sobre la afrodescendecia de Brasil, la conciencia negra, allí isa se sentía un poco desmotivada del tema pues no es algo que ella se sienta muy identificada para hablar así que le sugerí que hablara con sus profesoras sobre hacer un trabajo sobre la herencia africana de Venezuela, pues también fuimos un país colonizado y al que llegaron esclavos africanos y que de allí mucha de la cultura venezolana tiene influencia africana.

A isa le entusiasmo mucho la idea, pues allí podría hablar sobre su país, y se lo propuso a las profesoras encargadas del evento y estas les encantó tanto la idea que hubo una actividad totalmente cambiada para dedicarla a la herencia africana de varios países de América incluidos Venezuela.

Fue muy lindo ver a Isa contarles a sus compañeros sobre Venezuela, su país de origen, ella lideró un equipo donde les dio información para investigar, hablaron de comidas, bailes típicos, religión, vestimenta e inclusive palabras de origen africana que se usan en Venezuela. Todo esto para llegar a la conclusión de que Venezuela y Brasil son países hermanos, con muchos parecidos culturales.

Al final esa actividad valía puntos extras en varias materias y eso le ayudo a Isa a subir su promedio de notas.

Así que esa es la novedad de hoy, Isa aprobó todas las materias, paso para 8vo año y esta cada día más grande, bella e inteligente, estoy orgullosa y feliz de ser "la mamá de Isabella".

Hello dear mothers and fathers of Hive!

It's been a while since I've been here, some personal problems have kept me busy but they are gradually being resolved, but today I come because it is a super special occasion!

I already told you that I live in Brazil, and here the school year starts in February and ends in December, so for this time of year Isabella receives her final grades and then goes on vacation from school. This December 6 we went to pick up the grades and we found that she passed all the subjects and did not have to go to recovery.

That made us very happy, and it is that Isabella is a very intelligent girl, for me it was not a surprise, in my mind I was sure that she would not fail any subject, but she was a little nervous, but seeing herself in the box with the indication of "approved" and that in addition it was for her own merits, the council of teachers was not that it helped her, but she herself got good grades and made her feel super proud.

This school year was good, at the beginning she had to adapt to a new schedule, because before she studied in the afternoon, this year she was in the morning, and she felt alone during the first months, but then she made some friends who made her feel loved and she was able to enjoy her school experience to the fullest.

One thing I wanted to tell you too is that at the end of the school year there was a special activity to talk about the afrodescendecia of Brazil, the black consciousness, there isa felt a little discouraged about the subject because it is not something that she feels very identified to talk about so I suggested that she speak with her teachers about doing a work on the African heritage of Venezuela, because we were also a colonized country and to which African slaves arrived and from there much of Venezuelan culture has African influence.

Isa was very enthusiastic about the idea, because there she could talk about her country, and she proposed it to the teachers in charge of the event and they loved the idea so much that there was a completely changed activity to dedicate it to the African heritage of several countries in America including Venezuela.

It was very nice to see Isa tell her classmates about Venezuela, her country of origin, she led a team where she gave them information to investigate, they talked about food, typical dances, religion, clothing and even words of African origin that are used in Venezuela. All this to conclude that Venezuela and Brazil are brother countries, with many cultural similarities.

In the end that activity was worth extra points in several subjects and that helped Isa to raise her average grade.

So that's the news of today, Isa passed all the subjects, went to 8th grade and is every day more big, beautiful and intelligent, I am proud and happy to be "Isabella's mom".
