Let's take a tour on the harvest work I did in my garden today.

There are many and various reasons why one need to have a garden either in his or her compound or somewhere else. Come to think of it, if you're to purchase all your veggies, fruits and tubers from market, just calculate how much you'll spend in a month, then, × twelve months in a year. it's huge money. isn't it?

This year, I planted a garden both in my compound and faraway from home. About 2 miles away from home. In today's article, am about reporting and updating you all my friends on the powerful harvesting I did as I visited my garden today. There, I planted varieties of crops and veggies. On my next article, I will showcase them all. As for now, let me take you all on a review of how I harvested Achara(edible bamboo) from my garden today.

initially, I didn't plan to harvest Achara today because, I just went there to visit my farm and to see how it's flourishing. On reaching there, I saw that Achara have fully grown and ready for harvesting. That was when I recalled that 14 days have passed since the last harvest I did. Without wasting much of my time, I started the impromptu harvest.

While doing the work, I found out that some of the Achara are tender while some have overgrown although I harvested them same day, same time. Maybe, the Achara just gave birth to newborn babies lolz.

Do you know that today's harvest was huge because, even the stem also reproduced hahaha. That's good and encouraging.

While harvesting the Achara, I sighted something else that irritated both my eyes and feelings. Do you know that squirrel now found pleasure in displeasing me? Imagine, on my last article, I gave full details of how I cared for my groundnut (peanut). But, do you know that today, while harvesting my Achara, I saw that squirrel now finds pleasure in eating my groundnut. Just take a look at it

My closest neighbor asked me to set trap for the squirrel, but, am just thinking of it this way, squirrels are also living beings like me that do feel hungry as well. Now, if I should kill them, honestly, I must battle with guilty conscience. Meanwhile, who knows why God moved me into planting groundnut this year? Maybe, so as to feed both myself and those squirrels because they too do feel hungry just like me and they don't have any field to cultivate. Honestly, though am angry, yet, am feeling for them.

After cross-checking it all, I had no other option rather than to cover the peanut with sand once more.

Thereafter, I heaped all the Achara together and the heap was big.

While harvesting the Achara today, i found out that some of my Achara have turn to white. Lolz, uppps, i now have white specie of achara in my garden.

Next, I arranged them in small small portions or head( as it's normally called here)

I sold some, while I shared some with my neighbors and friends. If am not eating my farm produce, that's futility naah. So, I also did Justice to some. I greatly deserve it.

Today's harvest really stressed me up because I didn't eat before i started the work and it took me good 5 hours before i could finish. From 9am - 2pm. Am stressed
