Major upgrades and bug bounty program in INLEO LABS

Today the team Inleo has successfully rolled out major upgrades on their project infrastructure and also showcased its new website labs.inleo.io. These upgrades are meant to reduce the load on the Inleo browser by a whooping 3x which will result in a blazing fast experience while using the front end without any delay or lag so far and also, it will improve the performance across the board. Right now as I am writing this post, there is a gigantic AMA going on where bugs in the freshly launched website are being hunted by users and questions regarding the upgrades and future plans are also being discussed with the people. Overall it feels so vibrant and crowded right now while roaming around the Inleo platform. In this post, I will talk about the upgrades and future plans of Inleo and how we can benefit from this update, so without further ado, let us jump right in.

But before going into the details, let’s first talk a little about Inleo for those who are hearing this term for the first time. Inleo, formerly known as Leofinance is a social media project built on the decentralized Hive blockchain and it is also one of the largest active communities on this chain. They have their own front-end website labs.inleo.io which just officially launched today and is an upgraded form of their old site inleo.io. In this decentralized social media, anyone can join for free by creating a Hive account using their existing web2 social IDs like Twitter or Gmail, etc and can start interacting right away in the form of short-form content like Twitter and also through long-form blog posts. One groundbreaking feature that makes it different and superior to any other existing web2 social media platforms is the fact that creators stand a chance here to earn through their contribution to this platform where they will earn crypto tokens in the form of HBD (Hive Backed Dollars), Hive and Leo and all of them possess monetary value in the market. The project has been live and running for a few tears now and thousands of active users engage daily in this platform and engage in various different niches from crypto to finance, from economy to global news and also about their hobbies and thoughts regarding any niche.

UI Enhancements and Bug Fixes

The team is actively putting all the efforts possible to make the user interface seamless and fluid without any delays or glitches. Unlike web2 centralized social media platforms, All the transactions that happen in Inleo get registered in the Hive blockchain and it takes around 3 seconds to produce every block of transaction in this chain. However, while using Inleo you won't feel like waiting because they have engineered the platform user experience in such a way that even if it is running on a secure and decentralized blockchain system, it will give you a blazing-fast feel like you get on Twitter for instance. With the recent bug-hunting and implementation improvements we are getting one step closer to achieving that goal.

DeFi Integration

One of the fascinating future plans for this platform is to integrate and incorporate Decentralised Finance (DeFi) functionalities directly into the inleo platform which includes Token Swaps, leveraging Thorchain blockchain technology for backend operations and creating a more unified and better platform that combines both the worlds of social media and DeFi together.

This social media platform believes in Community first and knows the role of community in the development process and that's why they have announced a bounty program to reward users for their active contribution to bounty programs.
