Hoy vengo a hablarles de un tema que más bien es personal y es un tema que tiene cierta recurrencia y se repite de cierta manera en distintos ámbitos, y es que quiero hablarles de cuando no le pagan a uno a tiempo el trabajo que uno está haciendo.

Es muy común el ver que un empleador o un jefe te asigna para que hagas una tarea o que realices un trabajo y previamente ha acordado la cantidad de paga que vas a recibir o la recompensa que vas a recibir por ese trabajo, y la fecha en la que te van a pagar.

Supongamos que para este ejemplo que les estoy dando se ha acordado que semanalmente, todos los días lunes a las 2 de la tarde, se va a recibir el monto del salario por el cual se ha acordado trabajar.

Pero resulta que este empleador te va asignando tareas y tareas, tú estás consciente de que la empresa tiene la suficiente capacidad económica como para realizar los pagos, pero que simplemente, pues llegado el día lunes, el día del acuerdo en el que te corresponde recibir el dinero por el trabajo que has venido realizando, la empresa no te paga.

Y pues, suele suceder con más frecuencia de la que me gusta de que las personas que hacen trabajos, que tienen contratos o licitaciones para empresas del gobierno o directamente con el gobierno, suelen recibir los pagos hasta seis meses, 12 meses, hasta dos o más años después, de que han realizado el trabajo.

El problema con esto es que al recibir el pago con tanto tiempo de retraso, el dinero para el momento de recibirlo ya está devaluado, entonces la capacidad para adquirir bienes y alimentos se ha disminuido notablemente, es decir, que da la impresión de que el dinero que ha recibido ya no te sirve para comprar absolutamente nada y esto lleva realmente a una gran molestia y una gran frustración.

Es muy importante que los que tienen el cargo de empleadores paguen a tiempo, porque esto afecta directamente a la motivación que uno tiene como trabajador y afecta el compromiso que uno tiene con el trabajo, pues evidentemente uno está trabajando para obtener la recompensa económica.

Y el problema con esto es que el retraso en el pago para recibir estas recompensas por el trabajo que uno está haciendo afecta directamente las finanzas de mi persona, mis finanzas personales, esto afecta la capacidad que yo tengo para hacer frente a todas las responsabilidades que tengo en mi vida diaria, pues evidentemente estoy contando con que voy a tener este ingreso de trabajo, esta recompensa por el trabajo que estoy haciendo en cierta fecha especificada según lo hemos tenido acordado.

El retraso en el pago de parte de mi empleador, en este caso del gobierno de Venezuela, afecta también mucho mi relación con mi empleador. Esto genera en mí una gran falta de confianza y dudas en querer seguir trabajando con ellos.

Si, realmente la disposición de querer seguir haciéndoles un trabajo se disminuye notablemente y esto directamente, como he dicho, produce esta frustración y afecta la calidad del trabajo que yo estoy haciendo y también la capacidad para cumplir con los plazos que me ponen para realizar las tareas a las que estoy siendo asignado.

Precisamente, el retraso en estos pagos, que es reiterado, o sea no es una vez, no es dos veces, no es tres veces, es más de 20 o 30 veces a través del año, en el que se retrasan para hacer el pago.

Esto hace que yo me rebele y que haga el trabajo con mala calidad intencionalmente, pues trabajo con mala calidad y con desprecio, con desgano, completamente desmotivado y bastante molesto al respecto, porque el empleador que es el gobierno, sigue recibiendo el beneficio del trabajo que yo estoy haciendo, del producto terminado que yo le ofrezco.

En este caso (hipotético), puede ser la creación de contenidos o la elaboración de páginas web, distintos tipos de tareas, pero yo le entrego el trabajo en el plazo que ellos me exigen y ellos no están cumpliendo con las obligaciones que tienen.

Soy consciente de que esto no es una solución óptima, el que yo me rebele y que haga el trabajo con mala calidad, pero esta es mi respuesta, la respuesta natural que yo tengo a la frustración por no recibir el pago, pues porque yo estoy contando con ese dinero para adquirir alimentos, para pagar la renta del apartamento en donde vivo, para poder comprar las cosas que necesito y hacer frente a las responsabilidades financieras que tengo.

Y aparte de todo esto, siento que esto es una falta de respeto al trabajo que yo estoy haciendo.

La solución para que esta situación no se presente es así: manifestar mi descontento hacia ellos y hacia el retraso de los pagos, pidiéndoles amable y gentilmente más de una ocasión, tanto yo como mis otros compañeros de trabajo, que por favor hagan el pago en el plazo de tiempo adecuado, que a más tardar nos hagan saber o nos informen cuándo van a hacer el pago en caso de que se retrasen.

Pero es que tampoco toman esa medida de avisarnos cuándo van a realizar el pago o cuándo se van a retrasar. Entonces, por más ocasiones en las que les solicitamos que nos den información y nos mantengan informados de cuándo nos van a pagar, no lo hacen.

Estamos a ciegas, no sabemos cuándo nos van a pagar, nunca.

Y fíjense, por ejemplo, yo estoy esperando el pago desde el día de ayer, lunes, que me corresponde semanalmente, y ya es martes al mediodía, y no he recibido el pago.

En mi caso, yo necesito comprar alimentos, el hambre no sabe de pagos, el estómago no espera.

Yo aquí tengo hambre y estoy contando con el dinero para comprarme los alimentos, el arroz o las verduras y los vegetales que necesito para preparar mi comida de toda la semana. Y no tengo el dinero para poder comprar alimentos, por lo que estoy pasando hambre.
