Did you know there is a flat white cafe day? (Esp/Eng)

Early today when I open my internet browser, I see a cute coffee cup on the doodle, which I overlooked in my rush to leave on time. But upon returning home, and being a coffee lover, I went back to the computer and clicked to see what it was about, only to find out that today is celebrated as the day of the so-called flat white, one of the many coffee variations out there.

Upon investigating a bit about the flat white coffee day, I see that this specialty is very similar to what we usually call in Venezuela a "tetero" coffee, as it has much more milk than coffee, although the difference between them lies in the intensity of the coffee used in the mix.

I found it interesting to know that there is a particular day to celebrate this coffee variation that apparently originates from Australia or New Zealand, but has become quite popular thanks to international coffee-selling chains and franchises.

Of the "tetero" style coffee made in Venezuela, I was a huge fan for a long time, after discovering a bakery near my office that made it in a delicious way, with the perfect balance of coffee and creamy milk, making it a delightful experience to enjoy after lunch.

That was the mandatory office escape with my friend Rham, so we would eat quickly to have enough time to go buy it and savor it on site. Such a delight would lose its magic if ordered to go!

But if you ask me which one is my favorite, I would say I am a lover of cappuccino coffee or alternatively vanilla latte. That's why I have started a tour of different coffee shops located near my house, not to create a ranking (although I could) but to indulge in the various presentations offered at each place.

And today, I passed by two Starbucks, one of the chains that has popularized the Flat White globally, and I didn't go in to buy one, as I had no idea today was the perfect day to have one. Nonetheless, it remains on my to-do list, which I am sure I will fulfill very soon.

Hi My Pink, I also love cappuchino coffee, actually I love them all, even the "guayoyito" coffee when the night falls and I drink it to keep me awake.... I wish that VERY soon that pending task will be fulfilled and that you enjoy it immensely (decreed!).

I can also enjoy a guayoyo, but with sugar.
That's why I prefer the ones with milk, cinnamon, chocolate, which help me enjoy them without adding extra sugar.
