It's true that we all have out flaws, weaknesses, and foibles. It's true that other people know we have those. So it just makes sense for us to not dwell on out negatives and to focus on our plusses and positives.
If we're better at working with scripted material than we are at improvisation, then we focus on activities which let us plan and prepare and practice ahead of time. If we're better at improvisational acticvities, then we focus on activities which let us operate in a stream of consciousness or which let us just wing it.
No matter if we're like Marcus Aurelius, Warren Buffett, Jonathan Winters, or even Homer Simpson, we each have 24 hours in each day we're alive. This means we need to maximize our time so that we can get more out of life. That means we don't waste time beating ourselves over the head for our mistakes or weaknesses. Stuff happens, so we own it, deal with it, then move on in order to keep moving forward to where we want to be.
