La serie consta de 10 capitulos que te mantendran en suspenso y pegado al sofá para conocer el desenlace de la misma. Mar de fondo es una serie que sigue a un grupo de jovenes de una clase social privilegiada que lo tiene todo y que disfruta de sus vacaciones en las costa belgas, lo que pensaron que sería unas vacaciones tranquilas los llevara en un viaje de autodescubrimiento y a afrontar problemas de la vida adulta como el amor, las drogas, las presiones sociales, entre otras.

La historia que se cuenta en Mar de Fondo y los problemas adolescentes en los cuales se enfoca la serie no es diferente a los que ya hemos visto en otras oportunidades en la television, pero en mi opinión el éxito de la serie se debe a la buena actuación de los personajes y a la quimica que transmiten en pantalla, asi como los hermosos paisajes de los que podemos disfrutar, el mar es espectacular.

El final de la serie me gusto y me sorprendió, pero quedaron algunos asuntos pendientes. Debido al éxito que tuvo la serie se anuncio la posible realización de otra temporada, hay que esperar a ver que pasa. Recomiendo la serie y aunque esta dirigida en especial al publico adolescente me pareció que es ideal para todo publico, le doy un 8 en mi escala de 10 puntos ya que no es aburrida y se deja ver sin muchas complicaciones.
