Sharing My Journey Of Splinterlands
Hello, everyone happy Wednesday to all and this is the day of the Splinterlands social media challenge. Today I wanna share some important points of my splinterlands journey such as the Discovery of Splinterlands, Duration of Participation, Time Spent in Splinterlands, Accomplishments, Upcoming Goals, and Advice for Beginners. These are some important topics.
How I Found The Splinterlands Game

Yes, you heard it right. I found Splinterlands on the Steembottracker platform and it was owned by Yabapmatt. At the time of Steem, the hive platform did not exist, and at that time splinterlands launched with the name 'steemmonsters'. And the first advertisement launched on Steembottracker. I don't remember that ad design but if someone shares that ad in the comment section then it will remind me of this nostalgic ad of steemmonster.
I used steembottracker to buy the paid upvotes on my Steem posts and I am thankful for this platform which gave me splinterlands.
How long Have I Been A Part Of Splinterlands?
I don't know the exact date of joining but I think completed more than 4 years here. Earlier I used to get only cards as Season and Quest Rewards then the team included potions and then Dark Energy Crystal (DEC) was launched. DEC changed the entire gaming experience. And now you can see Splinterlands has its own governance token whose name is splintershards (SPS). So things have changed a lot and glad to see that land is also coming soon. I have been a regular player since the beginning.
Do I Play Splinterlands Every Day?
I check Splinterlands things daily and play sometimes. My mom loves to play splinterlands so she is playing my account also, I have other accounts that my cousin and friend play. The thing is they are not able to invest in splinterlands which is why they are earning some splinterlands assets by playing these accounts. However, If I can play by myself then I can earn more but I can't do it because of the time issue.
My Achievements On Splinterlands
If I say that splinterlands changed my whole life then it is not bad at all. However, last bear season forced me to sell 45 to 50% of assets and now 50% of assets remain and currently, I am able to protect those assets successfully. Due to the bad situation, I had to gradually sell the assets of Splinterlands, which I am very sad about. Thankfully now the situation is under control. I know you are not interested in my sad story but I want to give you an overview. Actually, my father has heart disease, high blood pressure, and diabetes, and a few months ago he had a stroke so I sold my Splinterlands assets gradually at a cheap rate which I did not want.
Anyway, let's talk about achievements. Honestly speaking, the reinvestment strategy helped me a lot and in the last bull season, my total assets value was more than $ 70k and you know I started the journey with $23. Now I am focusing on building. Currently, I have more than 1.5 lac SPS, an SPS node validator license, and some great splinterlands NFT including beta NFT.
My Upcoming Splinterlands Goals
My first goal is to reach 2 lac sps tokens because I believe sps is the most important asset in the game because it's a governance token. My second goal is to increase my guild level up to 4 and then I want to strengthen my team. I would love to buy some legendary monsters and especially new cards. I already have some great cards but I want to increase the strength more.
A Small Advice For Beginners
Building, building, and building this is what I want to advise you. If you focus on building on splinterlands then later you will definitely get the benefit because everything here is in limited quantity. You can also follow the reinvestment strategy which is the best I say because I personally experienced this. Focus on reinvestment and building and it is important, especially in the bear season. Splinterlands is not going anywhere and that is why long-term focus is important.

Hey @luckyali ... its so nice to see you grown and developed as a writter, in the early days, your writing had some defects, nowadays, its crisp and perfect, and well communicated, good flow and nice sprinkles of insights given as well.
Your splinterlands journey is very interresting, because I can relate to how things have changed, both life, and developments in these dapp platforms, and its nice to seen how the platform you encoutered has grown and given you so much!!
I am glad everything is better, and your dad can be fine for a long while, my Dad for past 40 years been diabetic and atleast heart patient for 25 years I think...but he has been strong... and still although very old ok... so with needed lifestyle he would be fine and with you and family there with him, he would be feel blessed with care.
I know nothing about splinderlands, and little bit I got to know like full form of SPS, during bull run lots of you made monney, I was a little jealous.. ha... its good you in splinterlands since the beggining, benefited from price action.

It seems like diabetes and heart disease are brothers because once you get a heart attack, after some time you will get diabetes in free. Even if the patient has diabetes and cannot control the level, he will have a heart attack danger. You can include blood pressure here.

My dad is diabetic since he was 39 years and heart patient since he was 50 something... but he is old now, but he continued doing stressful work in office till almost retirement age... he is 76 years now... now heart is weak, one leg athiritis but still he is managing...so your dad can live good quality life for long time.
You support your dad but I never could coz my dad is different, don't take help and all...so its different.

I suggest you also learn how to use AI tools for your work, it will be very beneficial... although I never tried it, but its needed. Might give you an edge if you start learning how to leverage those tools now itself because when technology matures, then there will be novices and you would have more experience and knowledge.
That always gives an edge...
I want to dive deep into AI but I have a time issue. :(
