Non-crypto People Surprised By 20% HBD Savings APR
Hello everyone welcome to my blog. When you say to someone who is not involved in crypto that you can earn 20% APR by investing in stablecoin, it won't be easy to believe for that person. It is 22% according to year and other traditional investments do not give returns like this. A mutual fund is the best example for you. Mutual funds provide roughly 12% return and you know it is dependent on stock market price. So it is not guaranteed that you will get a 12% return.
I have talked to my cousin regarding 20% HBD savings APR and his first reaction was 'It is impossible'. However, I convinced him and gave him complete information about Hive Blockchain and that is why He invested in Hive and later he will buy HBD too. Currently, the hive is cheap so he decided to invest in the hive. I want to say that it is a surprising thing for non-crypto people. HBD is a stablecoin and there is little fluctuation but it is normal, this is pegged to USD value.
Banking products are limited in giving APR to the investors. You can pick any product of the bank like I have shared mutual fund investment in the above paragraph. I think this is the highest-paying product of the bank and it is around 11% to 12%. Now the question is whether 20% APR remains the same. Hive is Delegated Proof-of-Stake (DPoS) technology and witnesses have to agree if something change is required. So if all the witnesses agree on this change then APR may be reduced.
So whether this will happen shortly or not is an unpredicted thing. So without worrying about this thing, we should focus on earning 20% APR on HBD savings. I have nothing in HBD savings and there is a reason. Right now Hive is cheap so I am accumulating more Hive and my main focus is to grow my Hive power and I am doing it gradually. Right now I have 7193 hive power but this is not enough and I need more. I can select the 100% powerup option by sometimes I need hive coins. So I prefer to invest my 50% earnings in hive power.
Lots of hive users hold a good amount of HBD in savings and they are earning fantastic without doing anything. This is the best passive income source. Also, you have no risk of losing the value of your crypto because HBD is a stablecoin. If you have enough hive power then this is the best option for you. @luckyali bhai, 20% is absurd but true.
MF and other instruments are designed so that a good chuck goes to the fund manager and while 12% is decent, 20% is more sweet.
But still, there are a few doubts, which is why I have not invested much in HBD.
