The Girl With The Golden Medal

For the final stage of this dancing competition, three winners will be selected. The winner will go home with a golden medal, the host announced amidst cheers and claps from the guests.
The competition has been a fierce one as all the participants were good dancers and competing for the same prize, but a winner has to emerge.
Ella, looked up and with eyes closed said a word of prayer. She can dance very well but the other six girls are fire dancers too. At this point, she needed all the strength and courage to clinch the prize.
One after the other, the girls performed to the amazement of the crowd and soon it was her turn. While on stage she danced like never before, allowing her soul and body to flow with the rhythm of the music and on the last lap, she did some amazing flips that surprised even herself. She has been practicing the flips for weeks now and hasn't been able to get them right, but now she did, excellently, she couldn't believe her eyes. But then she was no match for the first three girls who performed before her, that made her afraid.
Finally, it was time to call the winners and the host came on stage.
After the first runner up and second runner up were called, Ella's heart started beating so fast that she didn't hear when her name was mentioned as the winner of the dancing competition!
It was after the host repeated "Ella Williams, step forward and receive your medal that she heard her name and went to the stage.
"Congratulations, you performed well", the host told her as he hung the golden medal on her neck.
Looking at the medal she couldn't help but shed tears of joy. She kissed it and as she raised it high for all to see, the crowd cheered and shouts of "Ella, the golden girl", "Ella, the girl with the golden medal" could be heard from every corner of the hall.
Amidst all the challenges she faced from the start of the competition till the end, she remained focused. No one believed that she could make it to the finals not to mention winning, but she finally did and by so doing has made a name for herself as the "girl with the golden medal"

I really love her courage, she never allows herself to get intimidated by other dancers, Dancing is from the heart, so it is good the judges recognized her skill and she won the medal

Believing in oneself, and not giving up even in the face of defeat paid off for Ella. Even though she was competing against the best, she prevailed.
