Primi cambiamenti all'interno dello Gwen's Shop su Splinterlands - (ENG/ITA) - First changes inside Gwen's Shop on Splinterlands

Approfittando di una piccola pausa tra i miei vari impegni quotidiani, nel tentativo di portare avanti alcuni dei miei progetti, eccomi sfruttare questo momento di tranquillità per buttare giù queste mie poche righe per questo mio nuovo post, su questa piattaforma, dedicato, in questo caso, al mondo di Splinterlands.

Purtroppo, dopo un paio di giorni che sembravano poter mettere fine ad un periodo quasi invernale, che ci era ripiombato sulle spalle, inaspettatamente, proprio mentre ci stavamo illudendo che stesse per iniziare, non solo la primavera, ma già l'estate, le piogge di questi ultimi giorni sono tornate a romperci le scatole.

Questo non mi ha impedito, comunque, di continuare a fare le mie passeggiate quotidiane, anche se in alcuni casi sono rientrato a casa bagnato come un pulcino, ma ormai sono diventate, per me, una piacevole abitudine dalla quale non riesco più a fare a meno, anche per tenermi un po' più in forma.

Dopo che, da poco più di un mese, ho interrotto i miei rapporti lavorativi nell'azienda per la quale ho lavorato 16 anni, visto che ormai erano diventati decisamente malsani, e impossibili da portare avanti, per varie motivazioni che ho già argomentato in molti miei posti precedenti, infatti, la necessità di fare un po' di attività fisica si è resa impellente.

I progetti sui quali sto lavorando sono orientati prevalentemente, anche se non esclusivamente, al mondo dell'online, o comunque sono gestibili attraverso varie piattaforme elettroniche, e di conseguenza va da sé che l'occasione di fare un po' di moto è andata parecchio diminuendo.

Se non voglio iniziare a mettere su troppo peso, quindi, cosa che mi farebbe tirare le orecchie da parte di mia moglie, sto cercando di approfittare di alcune pause giornaliere, come questa, quando magari mi ritrovai a fare alcune commissioni fuori, casa per tenermi un po' attivo, e dedicarmi, magari, alla stesura di questi miei articoli.

Tutto questo però non c'entra nulla con l'argomento principale di cui volevo parlare, ma si tratta, come al solito, delle mie divagazioni personali, dalle quali, ormai da fin troppo tempo, mi faccio prendere spesso la mano, e, di conseguenza, scusandomi con chi mi sta leggendo, andiamo ad affrontare il tema principale di cui intendo parlare, ovvero del mondo di Splinterlands.

Negli ultimi giorni, infatti, ci sono già stati alcuni cambiamenti nella recente innovazione che ha visto arrivare, su questo gioco, il nuovo token Glint, ed il relativo shop, che sono andati a sostituire i vecchi scrigni per quanto riguarda le ricompense di gioco, tanto giornaliere, quanto stagionali.

Come credo ormai ben sappiate, ogni scontro che andremo ad affrontare ci regalerà un certo quantitativo della nuova valuta, appena nominata, che potremo utilizzare per l'acquisto di materiali vari, come già affrontato all'interno di un mio precedente post.

Fino a pochi giorni fa, gli acquisti effettuabili riguardavano l'estrazione, casuale, di alcune carte, con il prestigio delle stesse che andava a salire di ben cinque livelli, passando dall'Initiate al Master, più altri articoli quali Merits, ricriche di energia, pozioni, ed alcuni "titoli di gioco", in quantità limitata, e di rarità crescente.

Già a partire dal finale di stagione che ci siamo appena lasciati alle spalle, però, sono state aggiunte anche le possibilità di concorrere a nuove estrazioni di carte, selezionandole, però, in base al loro tipo, consentendoci, quindi, di scegliere, in base alla quantità di Glint che posediamo, e che vogliamo utilizzare, tra carte comuni, rare, epiche, o addirittura leggendarie.

Come potete vedere dalle immagini qui sopra, ho subito testato tale opportunità, andando ad accaparrarmi due leggendarie, ovvero Sorriel the Bale dell'elemento fuoco e Iziar dell'elemento vita, anche se purtroppo che già le possedevo, tre epiche, ovvero Clockwork Aide, Evelyn Auvera e Kra'Ar Xoc, e, non avendo più token a sufficienza per altre ipotesi, nove carte, estratte a sorte, in questo caso, del livello Adept.

Se da un lato devo ammettere che la cosa risulta essere piuttosto interessante, dall'altra, però, mi chiedo se non andrà ad influire, in maniera decisamente molto negativa, sul valore intrinseco delle carte che ci riusciremo ad accaparrare, visto che, in questo modo, anche se certamente la quantità di Glint necessaria sarà importante, chiunque potrà, comunque, permettersi di aggiudicarsi, con assoluta certezza, delle carte decisamente importanti, anche se rimarrà incertezza su quale ci verranno assegnate.

Mi chiedo quindi, a questo punto, se una decisione del genere non andrà a sballare completamente i valori di mercato per i possessori delle stesse, visto che ogni giocatore percorrerà certamente questa via, prima di tentare di procurarsi determinate tipologie di carte attraverso operazioni di acquisto.

Se già in precedenza non ero del tutto convinto della novità introdotta con l'arrivo dei Glint, e del relativo shop, questo ulteriore cambio di rotta mi lascia ancora più interdetto sulla bontà di questa operazione, a costo di sembrare il solito bastian contrario, visto che non è la prima volta che non mi trovo molto d'accordo con alcune decisioni prese dal team di sviluppo di Splinterlands.

Per il momento, però, in realtà stiamo parlando delle cosiddette carte soulbound che, di conseguenza, rimangono legate all'account personale dei vari giocatori, e attualmente non possono essere nemmeno scambiate, cosa che, fondamentalmente, almeno per un certo lasso di tempo, rende il loro valore comunque pari a zero, ma ammetto di di essere molto curioso di vedere che cosa accadrà in futuro.

Per il momento però non ci resta altro da fare se non assistere impotenti a queste decisioni, e vedere che cosa ci riserverà il futuro, sperando che non accada realmente ciò che temo, e che questo non porti ad un crollo del valore delle carte rewards di cui sopra.

Good evening everybody!

Taking advantage of a small break between my various daily commitments, in an attempt to carry on some of my projects, here I am taking advantage of this moment of tranquility to write down these few lines of mine for this new post of mine, on this platform, dedicated, in this case , to the world of Splinterlands.

Unfortunately, after a couple of days that seemed like they could put an end to an almost winter period, which had fallen upon us again, unexpectedly, just as we were deluding ourselves that not only spring, but already summer, was about to begin, the rains of these last few days they have come back to bother us.

This has not stopped me, however, from continuing to take my daily walks, even if in some cases I have returned home wet as a chick, but they have now become, for me, a pleasant habit from which I can no longer stop. less, also to keep myself a little more fit.

After just over a month ago, I interrupted my working relationships in the company for which I worked for 16 years, given that they had now become decidedly unhealthy, and impossible to continue, for various reasons that I have already discussed in many In my previous posts, in fact, the need to do some physical activity has become urgent.

The projects I'm working on are mainly, although not exclusively, oriented towards the online world, or in any case can be managed through various electronic platforms, and consequently it goes without saying that the opportunity to get some exercise has gone a long way decreasing.

If I don't want to start putting on too much weight, then, which would make my wife pull my ears, I'm trying to take advantage of some daily breaks, like this one, when maybe I find myself running some errands outside the house to keep myself a little active, and dedicate myself, perhaps, to writing these articles of mine.

However, all this has nothing to do with the main topic I wanted to talk about, but it concerns, as usual, my personal digressions, which, for too long now, I have often gotten carried away with, and, Consequently, with apologies to those who are reading this, let's address the main topic I intend to talk about, that is, the world of Splinterlands.

In the last few days, in fact, there have already been some changes in the recent innovation which has seen the new Glint token arrive on this game, and the related shop, which have replaced the old chests with regards to game rewards, both daily and seasonal.

As I think you well know by now, each battle that we will face will give us a certain quantity of the new currency, just named, which we will be able to use for the purchase of various materials, as already addressed in a previous one of mine post.

Until a few days ago, the purchases that could be made concerned the random extraction of some cards, with their prestige increasing by five levels, going from Initiate to Master, plus other items such as Merits, full of energy , potions, and some "game titles", in limited quantities, and of increasing rarity.

Already starting from the season finale that we have just left behind, however, the possibility of competing in new card draws have also been added, selecting them, however, based on their type, thus allowing us to choose, based on to the quantity of Glint that we have, and that we want to use, between common, rare, epic, or even legendary cards.

As you can see from the images above, I immediately tested this opportunity, going to grab two legendary ones, namely Sorriel the Bale of the fire element and Iziar of the life element, although unfortunately I already owned them, three epic ones, namely Clockwork Aide, Evelyn Auvera and Kra'Ar Xoc, and, no longer having enough tokens for other hypotheses, nine cards, drawn at random, in this case, of the Adept level.

If on the one hand I must admit that the thing turns out to be rather interesting, on the other, however, I wonder if it won't influence, in a decidedly very negative way, the intrinsic value of the cards that we will be able to grab, given that, in this Thus, even if the quantity of Glint needed will certainly be important, anyone will still be able to afford to win, with absolute certainty, decidedly important cards, even if there will remain uncertainty as to which ones will be assigned to us.

I therefore wonder, at this point, whether such a decision will not completely upset the market values for the owners of the same, given that every player will certainly take this route, before attempting to obtain certain types of cards through purchase operations .

If previously I wasn't entirely convinced of the innovation introduced with the arrival of Glint, and of the related shop, this further change of direction leaves me even more confused about the validity of this operation, at the risk of seeming like the usual contrary bastion, given which is not the first time that I don't really agree with some decisions made by the Splinterlands development team.

For the moment, however, we are actually talking about the so-called soulbound cards which, consequently, remain tied to the personal account of the various players, and currently cannot even be exchanged, which, fundamentally, at least for a certain period of time, makes their value equal to zero anyway, but I admit that I am very curious to see what will happen in the future.

For the moment, however, there is nothing left to do other than watch these decisions helplessly, and see what the future holds for us, hoping that what I fear does not actually happen, and that this does not lead to a collapse in the value of the rewards cards of above.
