Is it Better to Choose or to Decide?

Good afternoon! I was looking for some content to post about today and this is a topic that I have run across in the past and have wondered what difference it makes. Is it a distinction without a difference?

Choice or Decision.png

Here is a link to an article I found interesting and that adds some clarity: https://www.thindifference.com/2012/06/decisions-vs-choices-is-there-a-distinction/

My understanding is that a decision is something that takes longer and has more of a thought process behind it. So, for instance, deciding where to live or whether to quit your job and start a business or keep working and take up a side hustle. Your decision could have an impact, good or bad, on others. But in my mind, our choices should be made with more thought as well. They also have the potential to impact the lives of those around us.

What do you think? Is there really a difference between deciding or choosing?

That is all I have today! Enjoy the rest of your day! See you tomorrow!

This is really an interesting question... It's a good thing if we have a choice, but sometimes, we haven't... and in those moments, we have to decide to move on... regardless of everything else...

I would say that these days, we have that kind of atmosphere...
