My biggest motivation is that I feel good here, I like seeing updates from people who are fighting here every day to show their best content. Of course there are other things, I like the challenge of always improving, gamification of various communities, games, it's an environment I've been looking for since I was a teenager, a place I've never found on web2.

I can relate to that and I agree that it's a very special environment with much less toxicity than on web2.

I like to see what engagement I've earned over the last day, it's nice to have mobile apps and access 24/7 but sometimes it's nicer to log offline and enjoy the real world. Waking up in the morning refreshed, full of creativity and accessing a world such as Hive is exhilarating! It really makes a #slothbuzz each day!

Lately what motivates me most about Hive is the curation work, visiting publications and discovering wonders in what users write and show, especially people from other countries, but I am also passionate about seeing my voting power grow daily, having a Decent HP is motivating but it issomething that is achieved over time, now I spend my days cultivating it to continue increasing, that motivates me to make daily posts. In general I am obsessed with Hive, any excuse is good to get here every day 💯

My biggest motivation is too see whats going on , if there are new posts or even comments to my posts. I think interaction with others is what brings me here to login everyday and reading interesting posts!

Comments are real a great motivator. I often count the success of a post rather in recieved comments than in upvotes...

Currently its threads. I like the format. The quickness and there is a lot of engagement.

For the majority of my time on hive though its just seeing what my hive friends have posted about and what going on with the chain.

I basically log in every day to do my curation and daily tasks for the games I play. I try to keep my voting power from ever hitting 100% while at the same time keeping it above 80%. I also like to check out the headlines of what people are writing about to see what is moving the needle in the world of crypto.

That's a great habit to avoid losing curation rewards and using the voting power in a most efficient manner. It's nice to be able to give to others and it even pays back :-)

At first, I would say: how much rewards did I get on my articles / comments / threads but when I think about it, it's more about the comments I get.
When I go through my notifications, I usually don't really look at the rewards one, but I definitely check out every comment I received. So I guess it's mainly the social engagement which is motivating me.

Biggest motivation? I think it's cool to see my favorite users post something and there are replies on my post or comments that I can interact with 🤗. Usually, I just get likes or emojis on other social media without any comments for my post 😂.

It's pretty much a routine thing for me now. I do have the HPUM or whatever daily post badge it is that's on the back of my mind pushing me though. It was pretty much successful in 2023 with 9? 10? HPUM badges and the "1 post a day for an entire year" badge achieved. This sort of minor gamification does seem to work after all (for me at least).

That's a great question to ask me now that I'm sick. Because being sick made me restrict my Hive activities to a good degree, and I guess what's left is what is the most important to me. I guess, what is left, is:

  • checking out the news on Hive over the past 24 hours (manual curation has suffered to a degree now that I am sick, I am generally only looking for something that would make it to my weekly report)
  • trying to keep up with the daily posts and with the engagement
  • idle gaming and financial operations I only do what is strictly necessary and rarer, so these have suffered the last few days

First of all, for me, this was a great place to get away from crypto chart.
I had big problems with looking at the chart every hour.
And even at that moment my portfolio was in deep red...
As I became familiar with Hive, I found communities in which I found interest.
Since I like to travel and take photos, cook, write, drink beer, I found a lot of communities where I can post.
And as an additional value that I create for myself, I use the English language, which is not my native language and which I rarely use, so I enjoy reading and writing it. I just need to gather the courage to speak 🙂

The motivation for the daily login is primarily the desire to keep up to date with the members I follow and their posts.
And finally, to see the community's reactions to my posts and comments.

Your motivation shows that you care more about the people than the money and I think that after a while on hive that is what makes us stay on the platform.

I enjoy interacting with a few people in the community and reading up on their view points on tokens and things they have going on. I'd say that's one of the big things that keeps me coming back for more. I've learned a lot through InLEO including a lot of new projects this way.

The second would be of course rewards. Who doesn't like getting paid! But I also love the gaming aspect. It's an entire ecosystem and can quickly suck you in.
