Raptors as Pet

As I regularly travel to remote areas of Pakistan for Birding and also attend different cultural sports of Pakistan, like Nezabazi and Bull Race. In these events, many people also visit with their pet raptors. These people own some very rare raptors and these birds are very expensive and also require a lot of care and maintenance.

These birds are from different species like hawk, shikra, falcon, and eagle. These birds are also used for hunting. Many different tournaments are also organized in which these birds showcase their hunting skills, agility, and toughness. These birds also have some special diet. In Pakistan, this kind of activity is considered illegal but still many people keep these birds as a pet. Even they also have formed some falcon clubs in which they organize get to gather and share some thoughts on how can this hobby become secure for birds?

These raptors are very beautiful and on camera, they look stunning. I always love to photograph them whenever I get a chance. I have also photographed some raptors in wild and in my next posts I will share those raptors. Look at some more pictures of these beauties.
