Today is the first Dec. 1, 2023, and as every first of the month:

• I like to publish a post in which I check and share my progress on Hive
• I like to participate in the Hive Power Up Day initiative which is a nice recurring initiative of every months first day.
• I like to set and share my resolutions for the month just started.

I discovered Hive in 2019 and started my adventure on Hive on March 5, 2019.
Hive is not perfect and it is definitely improvable but after more than 4 years since I joined Hive is my favorite blockchain project and it is the one web 3.0 place I like to be and spend my time.

Hive has so many utilities and there are so many activities I like to do on Hive:

• I like to publish content on my Hive blog
• I like to read other authors' content and interact with them
• I like to play and invest on Hive games
• I like to invest in liquidity pools
• I like to evaluate and invest in projects related to Hive's second-level tokens

When I like a project it is natural for me to set growth goals.
My main goal on Hive is to increase my weight and influence = increase my Hive Power = HIVE staked.

Today December 1, 2023 in my wallet I have 47913 HP.

On Hive at certain amounts of Hive Power (HP) you acquire a status.

If you want to know all the current information about thresholds in HP related to Hive statuses you can read the post full of useful statistics published by @arcange from which I took the following screenshot.

My current status is Dolphin but my goal is to become an Orca as soon as possible and then pursue the dream of becoming a Whale.
I used the term dream because becoming a whale will be very difficult and time consuming.

Today December 1, 2023 acquiring Orca status is equivalent to having 57186 HP while on November 1, 2023 57044 HP was required.

In order to monitor my progress toward Orca status and to self-motivate myself at each beginning of the month, I created a table in which I mark my monthly Hive Power increments.

In the month of November, I achieved an increase of +1062.45 HP and took a further step toward Orca status (completion percentage: 83.78%)

Today I am also happy to achieve a goal I had set at the beginning of the year 2023: participate in all Hive Power Up Days in the year 2023.

With the Power Up I made today, I will obtain my 12th Badge and complete my annual Hive Power Up Day participation goal.

Today I made a Hive Power Up of 301 HIVE = 301 HP.

Today I had only 18 liquid HIVE in my wallet and to achieve this amount of Hive Power Up I first converted 102 HBD to HIVE using the SWAPS feature of Hive Keychain which is really a useful and easy to use feature even for a new user.

With the Power Up I did today, I passed the threshold of 48K HP.

With the progress I made in the month of November, I did not move up in the ranking of Hive users with the most HP because I maintained the position 357 where I was even on November 1, 2023.

I would like to be in the top 300 of Hive users with the most HP but it will not be easy to achieve this goal until several months down the road.

November was also a good month for the value of the HIVE token, which recorded a good increase in value in a 30-day time interval: +7.57% compared to the dollar value it had on November 1.

In fact, on the first day of November 1 HIVE had a value = $0.334.
Today, December 1, 2023 1 HIVE has a value of $0.359

Since I have been on Hive, I have often received questions from new users about how to grow fast on Hive.

The two elements I consider most important for growing on Hive are in order of importance:

• interaction
• consistency in posting

These two elements are strongly interrelated but interaction is in my opinion the most important element.

Why would a Hive user read and comment on one of your posts if you do not read and comment on other authors' posts?

If you are a new Hive user, I recommend that you always put a lot of effort into interaction and try to maintain a comment/posts ratio of at least 10/1.

To monitor and evaluate my level of interaction I like to calculate each month the value of my Posts/Comments ratio.

On November 1, 2023 I had a Comments/Posts ratio = 23479/1493 = 1/15.72
Today December 1, 2023 I have a Ratio Comments/Posts = 24200/1522 = 1/15.90

In November, I wrote 721 comments and increased my Comments/Posts ratio by +0.17.
My goal related to interaction is to exceed a Comments/Posts ratio = 20/1 = 20 comments per published post.

In the ranking of users who wrote the most comments, I entered the top 300 because I moved from position 304 (November 1, 2023) to position 291.

Regarding for my consistency in publishing I would like to be able to publish 1 post a day but I have not reached this goal for many months although I have come very close to this goal in the last three months:

My December Propositions and Final Considerations

I conclude this post with my intentions for the month of December that has just begun.
December is always a special and challenging month for me because my wife manages a store and in December she also works on Sundays and with a 10-year-old daughter doing many activities and my work commitments I will have much less free time available than in November.
For this reason and in all likelihood I will not be able to have the same consistency in posting and interaction that I have had in the past two months and this will produce a likely slowdown in my progress toward the goals I have set for myself on Hive.

In spite of this I like to set difficult goals for myself and in December I will try to surpass the 50K HP threshold.

Gaining about 1.8K HP in one month will be almost impossible for me but I want to try.

To achieve this goal in December I will use all the earnings from the Hive games I play (excluding Holozing and Splinterlands in which I have goals to achieve) to make Hive Power Up.

I will also use the earnings I get from staking second-level tokens to increase the amount of HP I possess.

Regarding Hive's second-level tokens, there have been some problems in recent days caused by the slowness or errors recorded by some nodes.

If you're having trouble managing Hive's second-level tokens, I recommend using BeeSwap because it has a very useful feature: it's set up to do automatic switching between nodes when a node malfunctions.

With the problems recorded by the nodes many projects I follow have had problems in the last week.
I hope the current problems will be resolved soon.
Hive Engine has been a very good and ingenious solution on Hive to make up for the lack of smart contracts but the problems recorded in the last few days show in my opinion that there is a need to improve or adopt much more decentralized solutions for second level tokens and NFTs on Hive.

Hive is my favorite blockchain project and it has a huge potential in my opinion because it has so many utilities and it is better than many other more popular blockchain projects but the absence of smart contracts is in my opinion one of the reasons why Hive does not fly...

If you are not a Hive user and don't know the world of blockchains you have two options:

48K Hive Power Superato e la mia strada da Delfino ad Orca!

Oggi è il primo 1 dicembre 2023 e come ogni primo del mese:

• mi piace pubblicare un post in cui controllo e condivido i miei progressi su Hive
• mi piace partecipare all'iniziativa Hive Power Up Day che è una bella iniziativa ricorrente di ogni primo giorno dei mesi.
• mi piace fissare e condividere i miei propositi per il mese appena iniziato.

Ho scoperto Hive nel 2019 e il 5 marzo 2019 ho iniziato la mia avventura su Hive.
Hive non è perfetta ed è sicuramente migliorabile ma dopo più di 4 anni dalla mia iscrizione Hive è il mio progetto blockchain preferito ed è l'unico posto web 3.0 in cui mi piace essere e in cui mi piace dedicare il mio tempo.

Hive ha tante utilità e sono tante le attività che mi piace fare su Hive:

• mi piace pubblicare contenuti sul mio Hive blog
• mi piace leggere i contenuti degli altri autori e interagire con loro
• mi piace giocare e investire sugli Hive games
• mi piace investire nelle liquidity pools
• mi piace valutare e investire nei progetti collegati ai token di secondo livello di Hive

Quando un progetto mi piace è naturale per me fissare degli obiettivi di crescita.
Il mio obiettivo principale su Hive è aumentare il mio peso e la mia influenza = aumentare il mio Hive Power = HIVE staked.

Oggi 1 dicembre 2023 nel mio wallet ho 47913 HP.

Su Hive a determinati quantitativi di Hive Power (HP) si acquisisce uno status.

Il mio status attuale è lo status di Delfino ma il mio obiettivo è di diventare un Orca nel minore tempo possibile per poi inseguire il sogno di diventare una Balena.
Ho usato il termine sogno perchè diventare una balena sarà molto difficile e richiederà molto tempo.

Oggi 1 dicembre 2023 acquisire lo status di Orca equivale ad avere 57186 HP mentre il 1 novembre 2023 erano necessari 57044 HP.

Per monitorare i miei progressi verso lo status di Orca e per automotivarmi ad ogni inizio mese ho costruito una tabella in cui segno ad ogni inizio mese i miei incrementi mensili di Hive Power.

Nel mese di novembre ho ottenuto un incremento di +1062.45 HP e ho fatto un ulteriore passo in avanti verso lo status di Orca (percentuale di completamento: 83.78%)

Oggi sono anche felice di raggiungere un obiettivo che avevo fissato all'inizio dell'anno 2023: partecipare a tutti gli Hive Power Up Day dell'anno 2023.

Con il Power Up che ho fatto oggi otterrò il mio dodicesimo Badge e completerò il mio obiettivo di partecipazione annuale all'Hive Power Up Day.

Oggi ho fatto un Hive Power Up di 301 HIVE = 301 HP

Oggi avevo solo 18 HIVE liquidi nel mio waller e per raggiungere questo quantitativo di Hive Power Up ho prima convertito 102 HBD in HIVE utilizzando la funzionalità SWAPS di Hive Keychain che è davvero una funzionalità utile e semplice da utilizzare anche per un nuovo utente.

Con il Power Up che ho fatto oggi ho superato la soglia dei 48K HP.

Con i risultati che ho ottenuto nel mese di novembre non ho fatto passi avanti nella classifica degli utenti di Hive con il maggior quantitativo di HP perchè ho mantenuto la posizione 357 in cui ero anche il 1 novembre 2023.

Mi piacerebbe entrare nella top 300 degli utenti di Hive con più HP ma non sarà facile raggiungere questo obiettivo se non dopo diversi mesi di tempo.

Il mese di novembre è stato un mese positivo anche per il valore del token HIVE che ha registrato un buon incremento di valore in un intervallo di tempo di 30 giorni: +7.57% rispetto al valore in dollari che aveva il 1 novembre.

Infatti il primo giorno di novembre 1 HIVE aveva un valore = 0.334$
Oggi 1 dicembre 2023 1 HIVE ha un valore di 0.359$

Da quando sono su Hive ho spesso ricevuto delle domande dai nuovi utenti su come crescere velocemente su Hive.

I due elementi che considero più importanti per crescere su Hive sono in ordine di importanza:

• interazione
• consistenza nella pubblicazione

Questi due elementi sono fortemente collegati tra di loro ma l'interazione è secondo me l'elemento più importante.

Perchè un utente di Hive dovrebbe leggere e commentare un tuo post se tu non leggi e commenti i post degli altri autori?

Se sei un nuovo utente di Hive ti consiglio di dare sempre molta importanza all'interazione e di cercare di mantenere un rapporto commenti/posts di almeno 10/1.

Per monitorare e valutare il mio livello di interazione mi piace calcolare ogni mese il valore del mio rapporto Posts/Comments.

Il 1 novembre 2023 avevo un rapporto Comments/Posts = 23479/1493 = 1/15.72
Oggi 1 dicembre 2023 ho un rapporto Comments/Posts = 24200/1522 = 1/15.90

Nel mese di novembre ho scritto 721 commenti e ho aumentato il mio rapporto Comments/Posts di +0.17.
Il mio obiettivo relativo all'interazione è di superare un rapporto Comments/Posts = 20/1 = 20 commenti per ogni post pubblicato.

Nella classifica degli utenti che hanno scritto il maggiore numero di commenti sono entrato nella top 300 perchè sono passato dalla posizione 304 (1 novembre 2023) alla posizione 291.

Per quanto riguarda la mia consistenza nella pubblicazione mi piacerebbe riuscire a pubblicare 1 post al giorno ma sono tanti mesi che non raggiungo questo obiettivo anche se negli ultimi tre mesi mi sono molto avvicinato a questo obiettivo:

Propositi per il mese di Dicembre e Considerazioni Finali

Concludo questo post con i miei propositi per il mese di dicembre appena iniziato.
Il mese di dicembre è sempre un mese particolare e impegnativo per me perchè mia moglie gestisce un negozio e nel mese di dicembre lavora anche la domenica e con una figlia di 10 anni che fa tante attività e i miei impegni di lavoro avrò molto meno tempo libero disponibile rispetto al mese di novembre.
Per questo motivo e con molta probabilità non riuscirò ad avere la stessa consistenza nella pubblicazione e nell'interazione che ho avuto nei due mesi passati e questo produrrà un probabile rallentamento dei miei progressi verso gli obiettivi che mi sono posto su Hive.

Nonostante questo mi piace pormi obiettivi difficili da raggiungere e nel mese di dicembre cercherò di superare la soglia dei 50K HP.

Guadagnare circa 1.8K HP in un mese sarà quasi impossibile per me ma voglio provarci.
Per raggiungere questo obiettivo nel mese di dicembre utilizzerò tutti i guadagni degli Hive games a cui gioco (esclusi Holozing e Splinterlands nei quali ho obiettivi da raggiungere) per fare Hive Power Up.

Utilizzerò anche i guadagni che otterrò dallo staking dei token di secondo livello per aumentare il quantitativo di HP in mio possesso.

Riguardo ai token di secondo livello di Hive, negli ultimi giorni ci sono stati alcuni problemi causati dalla lentezza o dagli errori registrati da alcuni nodi.

Se hai problemi a gestire i token di secondo livello di Hive ti consiglio di usare BeeSwap perchè ha una utilissima funzionalità: è settato in modo da fare lo switch automatico tra i nodi quando un nodo non funziona correttamente.

Con i problemi registrati dai nodi molti progetti che seguo hanno avuto problemi nell'ultima settimana.
Spero che i problemi attuali verranno risolti presto.
Hive Engine è stata un ottima e ingegnosa soluzione su Hive per sopperire alla mancanza degli smart contracts ma i problemi registrati negli ultimi giorni mostrano secondo me che è necessario migliorare o adottare soluzioni molto più decentralizzate per i token di secondo livello e per gli NFT su Hive.

Hive è il mio progetto blockchain preferito e ha un potenziale enorme secondo me perchè ha tante utilità ed è migliore di tanti altri progetti blockchain più conosciuti ma la mancanza di smart contracts è secondo me uno dei motivi per cui Hive non spicca il volo...
