CBW23: Much more than a Blockchain meeting

Una nueva edición de CBW

Reunirse con amigos, nos brinda la oportunidad de poder compartir la esencia de quienes somos, bajo este contexto, era impensable e imposible perderme la segunda edición del Caracas Blockchain Week; tras obtener mis entradas en línea, gracias a los organizadores del evento en su cuenta de "X" (anterior Twitter), pude asistir sin mayores complicaciones al evento pautado.

Al principio, sentí un poco de timidez al entrar, debido a la poca interacción en las últimas semanas, producto del trabajo, el hogar y cuidados de la rutina diaria; poco a poco, fueron llegando las amistades tanto locales como a nivel nacional, asimismo, se acercaba la hora de las ponencias en las distintas salas establecidas para ello.

Exponentes de primera línea

Se desarrollaron temas de mucho interés basados en la experiencia financiera: sistemas alternativos basados en blockchain, el uso de tecnologías innovadoras, educación y adopción de la Web3, Bitcoin: historia y tendencia, planeación y ejecución de proyectos en la Web3, ciberseguridad, NFT´s, Metaverso y arte vinculados a la blockchain, entre otros, captaron la atención de todos los asistentes; lo más importante, es que Hive tuvo una presencia amplia, de la mano de excelentes desarrollares de contenido, entre ellos: @danielvehe, @filoriologo, @arlettemsalase, @alteramelia, @jonsnow1983.

Bitcoin Art

El arte, también dijo presente en ésta actividad, la reconocida artista venezolana Juliette Garzón, presentó parte de su hermosa colección inspirada en el hardware de máquinas de minería de bitcoin, llamada "Bit Art", siendo un homenaje a todos los mineros que utilizaron máquinas "Antminer S9"; asimismo, pudimos apreciar unos curiosos cochinitos quienes forman parte de la colección "PigCoiner": hermosos puerquitos inspirados en el arte urbano, representan las alcancías de ahorro tradicional quienes se revelan ante el sistema de ahorros monetario tapando su ranura con curitas, dando el mensaje de buscar mejores maneras para invertir nuestro dinero.

Amigos

El momento más esperado llegó, el poder compartir con los amigos: la calidez de un abrazo, sonrisas contagiosas, el poder conocernos al fin, el reencuentro, la picardía y genialidad de todos, se transformaron en esa vitamina revitalizante que necesita el alma: @natalimcr27, @yenmendt, @yonnathang, @soyunasantacruz, @yolimarag, @zullyscott, @dayadam, @mayvil; también fue el momento de conocer creadores relevantes que hacen vida en Hive: @ylich, @nahupuku, @esalcedo, @valeriavalentina, @fermionico, @yulilemus, @soy-laloreto, @madeinfrance.
Por supuesto, no puedo dejar pasar de lado, el poder compartir brevemente con @starkers, CEO de 3SPEAK con quien tomamos algunas fotos y bromeamos un poquito jumto a @natalicmr27.

Fue un día especial y muy feliz, al final de la tarde, pude trasladarme gracias al apoyo que recibí de @soyunasantacruz y @yolimarg, quienes me dieron un puesto en el bus de regreso.

A new edition of CBW

Meeting with friends gives us the opportunity to share the essence of who we are, under this context, it was unthinkable and impossible to miss the second edition of the Caracas Blockchain Week; after getting my tickets online, thanks to the event organisers on their "X" account (former Twitter), I was able to attend the scheduled event without major complications.

At first, I felt a little shy to enter, due to the little interaction in recent weeks, product of work, home and care of the daily routine; little by little, friendships both local and national level were arriving, also, it was approaching the time of the presentations in the various rooms established for it.

Leading speakers

Topics of great interest were developed based on financial experience: alternative systems based on blockchain, the use of innovative technologies, education and adoption of Web3, Bitcoin: history and trend, planning and execution of Web3 projects, cybersecurity, NFT's, Metaverse and art linked to blockchain, among others, captured the attention of all attendees; most importantly, Hive had a broad presence, from the hand of excellent content developers, including: @danielvehe, @filoriologo, @arlettemsalase, @alteramelia, @jonsnow1983.

Bitcoin Art

Art was also present in this activity, the renowned Venezuelan artist [Juliette Garzón](https://www.instagram.com/juls__art/? utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet&igshid=OGQ5ZDc2ODk2ZA==), presented part of her beautiful collection inspired by the hardware of bitcoin mining machines, called "Bit Art", being a tribute to all the miners who used "Antminer S9" machines; also, we could appreciate some curious pigs who are part of the "PigCoiner" collection: beautiful little pigs inspired by urban art, representing the traditional savings piggy banks who reveal themselves to the monetary savings system by covering their slots with band-aids, giving the message to look for better ways to invest our money.

Friends

The most awaited moment arrived, being able to share with friends: the warmth of a hug, contagious smiles, finally getting to know each other, the reunion, the mischievousness and geniality of everyone, transformed into that revitalising vitamin that the soul needs: @natalimcr27, @yenmendt, @yonnathang, @soyunasantacruz, @yolimarag, @zullyscott, @dayadam, @mayvil; it was also the moment to meet relevant creators who make life in Hive: @ylich, @nahupuku, @esalcedo, @valeriavalentina, @fermionico, @yulilemus, @soy-laloreto, @madeinfrance.

Of course, I can't pass up the chance to briefly share with @starkers, CEO of 3SPEAK with whom we took some photos and joked a little bit with @natalicmr27.

It was a special and very happy day, at the end of the afternoon, I was able to move thanks to the support I received from @soyunasantacruz and @yolimarg, who gave me a seat on the bus back.
