Apreciaciones sobre el DEC y el gran evento de “Quema” de aniversario en “Splinterlands” [ES-EN]

Hace unos 15 días que hable sobre el aspecto económico en el juego y de las oportunidades que representaban los precios más bajos que habíamos experimentado en mucho tiempo para la mayoría de los activos en el ecosistema, esa postura que comente en esa publicación aun la mantengo, sin embargo, hay un tema que me interesa mucho abarcar de la parte económica y es sobre el evento de quema de DEC más grande que se haya celebrado jamás en la comunidad, gracias a los 5 años que ha cumplido el juego hace ya practicamente un mes, aunque, mas allá de esto, siendo sincero, algo que me apasiona son las finanzas, la economía, el trading y este tipo de cosas, siento que nací para ser con el tiempo un experto en finanzas, aunque aun sigo estudiando y aprendiendo cada día, ya que soy de los que piensa que el conocimiento es poder.
Pero, volviendo al tema central de esta publicación, en esta oportunidad hablare de este evento en específico y de varios detalles muy importantes que debo abarcar acerca del DEC y del trabajo arduo que se ha realizado para llevar el DEC a su paridad de $0.001 cada 1000 DEC, algo que, momentáneamente se ha logrado, pero, por razones que explicare o que tratare de explicar, aun no se logra mantener en este precio, por lo que, estaré hablando sobre mi punto de vista personal sobre este tema, algunas de las cosas que se pueden realizar mientras esperamos la evolución del DEC con especto a su suministro y su precio y algunos detalles adicionales.
Así que, tomando en cuenta lo comentado anteriormente, en esta oportunidad estaré hablando del DEC y de su economía, más algunos otros detalles de interés que de seguro querrán conocer, por lo que, para hacerlo, abarcare los siguientes puntos:

¿Fue un éxito el gran evento de Quema de DEC del aniversario del juego?
Para mi y para todo el que haya visto la tabla de lideres y la cantidad total de DECs que se quemaron, puedo decir con toda propiedad que este evento fue todo un éxito, realmente sé quemaron muchísimos DEC y la comunidad se unió mas que nunca para participar en este gran evento en donde estaban involucrados varios precios muy interesantes, así que, la motivación para participar en algo como esto, fue realmente grande, fue una retribución interesante y muchos se unieron con un mismo fin, la verdad, de las muchas cosas que me gustan de “Splinterlands”, tengo que aceptar que su comunidad en los momentos mas importantes se une, esto es una realidad y quedo plasmado en la historia del juego en el 5to aniversario, así que, en hora buena para todos los que participaron y apoyaron a la economía del DEC.
Para ver un poco mas de datos, en la siguiente imagen, podrán observar la cantidad exacta de DEC que se quemaron como resultado del gran evento del 5to aniversario de “Splinterlands”:
Como pueden observar claramente en la imagen, se quemo un total de 380.759.257,877 millones de DEC, mas 161.573.729,434 millones de DEC-B, lo que hace un total de 542.332.987.311 millones, una cifra bastante importante, lo que quiere decir que, actualmente y desde hace algo de tiempo, el DEC es un token “Deflacionario”, lo que quiere decir que, se queman mas token de los que se crean, lo que causa que sea un activo con revalorización en el futuro, pero, no infinitamente, ya que, la introducción de las conversiones de SPS a DEC, son un mecanismo de control que pusieron para que dicho token no se descontrolara al alza, por lo que, esto es mucho mejor, ya que acerca mas el token para lo que fue creado en un inicio que es ser un token “Estable”.
Ademas, la razón por la que este mecanismo se creó, es porque, mientras mas alto era el precio, mas tokens de DEC se creaban, y la realidad es que, para cualquier economía, esto es perjudicial, debido a que es precisamente esto lo que crea la famosa “Inflación”, una impresión desmedida de activos que posteriormente desencadena una baja muy fuerte en su cotización, lo cual, ya experimentamos en el pasado a mediados del 2022, pero, posteriormente con los cambios en la economía del mismo, el quitarlos de las recompensas en el juego por ganar batallas, removerlo de los “Pools de liquidez”, entre otras cosas, se ha dejado de imprimir mas DEC en masa, lo que ha repercutido muy bien en el precio a pesar de que no lo parezca, ya que, seguramente muchos en el juego, especialmente los mas nuevos, desconocen este tipo de información, la cual, profundizare un poco mas en la siguiente sección.
Debido al gran evento, el precio del DEC se ha comportado de la siguiente manera, durante un poco mas de 30 días, en donde se ha quemado mas de 540 millones de DEC:
¿Qué aspectos económicos se deben tomar en cuenta para seguir la evolución del DEC?
Lo positivo
En términos generales el DEC va por un excelente camino, se ha convertido en un token “Deflacionario” que desparece muchos mas tokens del mercado de los que crea, este es el aspecto mas importante para que la tan ansiada paridad a $0.001 pueda llegar, todos los cambios económicos que se han realizado para con el DEC, han sido realmente positivos, ya que siempre se ha sabido que el DEC se creó para que fuera un token “Estable”, para ser más claro, hay que darle tiempo y tener mucha paciencia para que pueda alcanzar la paridad, yo diría que, el siguiente paso seria esperar al lanzamiento de la fase de la “Tierra 1.5”, esto creara gran demanda alrededor del DEC, puesto que, en esta fase si no me equivoco, vendrá el replanteo de cartas y de DEC respectivamente, esto hare que las tierras funcionen a plenitud y de seguro muchos quieren que estas funcione al maximo posible, así que, lo mas probable es que venga una gran ola.
Todos estos eventos y los casos de uso que se han agregado continuamente para el DEC, harán que se imprima menos y se queme mucho más, un ejemplo claro de esto, es la tarifa de cotización asociada al mercado que es de 1 DEC, un buen cambio en mi opinión, ademas de todos los objetos que se pueden comprar en la tienda con DEC son tokens que se queman, por otro lado, si no estoy mal, estoy casi seguro que solo existen 2 formas de acuñar DEC ahora mismo, una de ellas es la tabla de clasificación de la temporada, es decir, los mejores jugadores de cada formato que ganan DEC en los primeros lugares y por último, tenemos a la quema de tarjetas que, básicamente se utiliza para cuando una carta realmente no es muy útil, pero comparando estos mecanismos de acuñación, con los de quema, generalmente se están quemando muchísimos más y el suministro de mercado actual actualmente es de 4.716.740.000,00 billones de DEC, los cuales han disminuido muchísimo, de igual forma, en la siguiente imagen observaran como se encuentra el suministro actual del “DEC” justo al momento de redactar esta publicación.
Lo negativo
Siempre en el camino hay trabas, tenemos muros los cuales impiden que podamos avanzar, sin embargo, siempre hay forma de solucionar la situación, pero, el problema que observo, según lo que entiendo de todo este mundo económico y lo que veo en el mercado y los jugadores, es que existen 2 tipos de personajes en el ecosistema, los “Jugadores y los Especuladores”, en la historia la base de jugadores son el representante positivo, el objetivo de estos es mantener por el mayor tiempo que se pueda la paridad de DEC en $0.001, por otro lado, tenemos a los “Especuladores”, los cuales por lo general han comprado DEC con descuento desde hace mucho tiempo, estimo que muchos miles de millones, esperando el momento adecuado para salir, donde, salir significa es “Vender”, por lo que, lo mas seguro es que estos “Especuladores” estén listos para vender una vez el DEC pise la “Paridad” con fuerza.
Ademas, aquellos que entienden de que forma funciona el mercado y ya sabiendo que el DEC tiene un precio tope, por lo general los mas listos y habilidosos (Especuladores), querrán comprar el DEC a $0.00089 o $0.00090, esperar a que la “Oferta” disminuya con los mecanismos de quema actuales, crear “Demanda” con la quema de SPS, el precio nuevamente experimenta un alza hasta los $0.00099 y llega la “Oferta”, queriendo nuevamente vender, así que, podría haber un riesgo en todo esta intención de llevar el DEC a su anclaje.
Consideraciones Finales
Lo cierto es que, el equipo ha estado trabajando en estos mecanismos y muchos han sido efectivo, otros no tanto, pero siguen trabajando, por otro lado, las grandes partes interesadas siempre están pendientes del bienestar del juego, de hecho, el que podamos votar en las propuestas es muy genial para hacer que la voz de la comunidad de note con fuerza y dirija el futuro del juego para beneficio de todos, mi opinión final de todo esto, es que debemos tener paciencia, esperar a la llega de la fase de la “Tierra 1.5” y actuar a partir de lo que suceda con esto, pero, me alegra que el gran evento de quema haya sido todo un éxito.
Espero que esta publicación les haya gustado, es algo diferente de lo que suelo traer, pero me gusta muchas veces traer cosas diferentes hablando de economía del juego, ya que pueden aprender y conocer como funciona la parte económica del “Splinterlands”, por supuesto, pudieron haberme faltado muchas otras cosas por señalar, pero no me gusta hacer las publicaciones tan largas y tediosas, ademas, solo quería centrarme el DEC por ahora, en tal sentido, vuelvo y repito, no soy un experto, pero, estoy aprendiendo y busco la manera de transmitir mis conocimientos a todos ustedes por medio de mis publicaciones. About 15 days ago I talked about the economic aspect in the game and the opportunities that represented the lowest prices we had experienced in a long time for most of the assets in the ecosystem, that position that I commented in that publication I still maintain, however, there is a topic that I am very interested in covering the economic part and it is about the largest DEC burning event ever held in the community, thanks to the 5 years that the game has been in operation for almost a month, although, beyond this, being honest, something that I am passionate about is finance, economics, trading and this kind of things, I feel that I was born to be eventually an expert in finance, although I'm still studying and learning every day, as I am one of those who think that knowledge is power.
But, going back to the main topic of this publication, in this opportunity I will talk about this specific event and several very important details that I have to cover about the DEC and the hard work that has been done to bring the DEC to its parity of $0. 001 per 1000 DEC, something that, momentarily has been achieved, but, for reasons that I will explain or that I will try to explain, it is still not being maintained at this price, so, I will be talking about my personal point of view on this subject, some of the things that can be done while we wait for the evolution of the DEC regarding its supply and its price and some additional details.
So, taking into account the above, in this opportunity I will be talking about the DEC and its economy, plus some other interesting details that you will surely want to know, so, to do so, I will cover the following points:

For me and for everyone who has seen the leaderboard and the total amount of DECs that were burned, I can say with all propriety that this event was a success, I really burned a lot of DECs and the community joined more than ever to participate in this great event where several very interesting prices were involved, so, the motivation to participate in something like this was really great, it was interesting retribution and many joined with the same goal, was really great, it was an interesting retribution and many joined with the same purpose, the truth, of the many things I like about "Splinterlands", I have to accept that its community in the most important moments is united, this is a reality and was reflected in the history of the game on the 5th anniversary, so, good luck to all who participated and supported the economy of the DEC.
To see a little more data, in the following image, you can see the exact amount of DECs that were burned as a result of the big Splinterlands 5th anniversary event:
As you can clearly see in the image, a total of 380,759,257.877 million DEC, plus 161,573,729.434 million DEC-B, which makes a total of 542,332,987 million. 311 million, a quite important figure, which means that, currently and since some time ago, the DEC is a "Deflationary" token, which means that, more tokens are burned than are created, which causes it to be an asset with revaluation in the future, but, not infinitely, since the introduction of the SPS to DEC conversions are a control mechanism that was put in place so that the token does not get out of control upwards, so this is much better, since it brings the token closer to what it was created for in the beginning, which is to be a "Stable" token.
In addition, the reason why this mechanism was created, is because, the higher the price, the more DEC tokens were created, and the reality is that, for any economy, this is detrimental, because this is precisely what creates the famous "Inflation", an excessive printing of assets that subsequently triggers a very strong decline in its price, which, we already experienced in the past in mid-2022, but, later with the changes in the economy of the game, removing them from the rewards in the game for winning battles, removing it from the "Pools of liquidity", among other things, has stopped printing more DEC en masse, which has impacted very well on the price even though it may not seem so, since, surely many in the game, especially the newer ones, are unaware of this type of information, which, I will deepen a little more in the next section.
Due to the big event, the DEC price has behaved as follows, for a little more than 30 days, where more than 540 million DEC has been burned:
What economic aspects should be taken into account to follow DEC's evolution?
The positive
In general terms the DEC is on an excellent path, it has become a "Deflationary" token that disappears many more tokens from the market than it creates, this is the most important aspect for the long awaited parity at $0.001 to arrive. 001 can arrive, all the economic changes that have been made for the DEC, have been really positive, since it has always been known that the DEC was created to be a "Stable" token, to be more clear, you have to give it time and have a lot of patience so it can reach parity, I would say that the next step would be to wait for the launch of the phase of "Earth 1. 5" phase, this will create great demand around the DEC, since, in this phase if I am not mistaken, will come the re-setting of cards and DEC respectively, this will make the lands to work to the fullest and for sure many want these to work to the maximum possible, so, most likely a big wave will come.
All these events and the use cases that have been continuously added for DEC, will make it print less and burn much more, a clear example of this, is the quote rate associated with the market which is 1 DEC, a good change in my opinion, besides all the items that can be bought in the store with DEC are tokens that burn, on the other hand, if I'm not wrong, I'm pretty sure there are only 2 ways to mint DEC right now, one of them is the season leaderboard, that is, the top players in each format earning DEC in the top spots and lastly, we have card burning which, basically is used for when a card really isn't very useful, but comparing these minting mechanisms, with the burning ones, there are generally a hell of a lot more being burned and the current market supply currently stands at 4. 716.716.740.000,000,00 billion DEC, which have decreased a lot, likewise, in the following image you can see how is the current supply of "DEC" just at the time of writing this publication.
The negative
Always on the way there are obstacles, we have walls which prevent us from moving forward, however, there is always a way to solve the situation, but the problem I see, as I understand this whole economic world and what I see in the market and players, is that there are 2 types of characters in the ecosystem, the "Players and Speculators", in history the player base are the positive representative, the goal of these is to maintain as long as possible the parity of DEC at $0. 001, on the other hand, we have the "Speculators", who usually have been buying DEC at a discount for a long time, I estimate many billions, waiting for the right time to exit, where, exit means "Sell", so, most likely, these "Speculators" are ready to sell once DEC hits the "Parity" hard.
In addition, those who understand how the market works and already knowing that the DEC has a price ceiling, usually the smartest and most skilled (Speculators), will want to buy the DEC at $0.00089 or $0. 00090, wait for the "Supply" to decrease with the current burning mechanisms, create "Demand" with the burning of SPS, the price again experiences a rise to $0.00099 and the "Supply" arrives, wanting to sell again, so, there could be a risk in all this intention to bring the DEC to its anchor.
Final Considerations
The truth is, the team has been working on these mechanisms and many have been effective, others not so much, but still working, on the other hand, the big stakeholders are always looking out for the welfare of the game, in fact, the fact that we can vote on the proposals is very cool to make the voice of the community to note strongly and direct the future of the game for the benefit of all, my final opinion of all this, is that we must be patient, wait for the arrival of the phase of the "Earth 1. 5" and act on what happens with this, but, I am glad that the big burning event was a success.
