I don't know why it have to be then of all time
If I look back at somethings that have happened in my life I always wonder if I was lucky at all or maybe something is actually wrong with me. Thing really happened but at times we have to forget about the past in order to move forward to the future.
There was a time I was looking for work, then I just finished my National diploma (ND). I told my friend about how I was looking for a job and she introduced me to her friend Emmanuel.
Emmanuel is someone who is very friendly, nice he doesn't discriminate even though he is older than us. When I told him about work issue he said he will help me out but he doesn't have connections in my area but will try and get for me where he have connections.
He eventually help me to get the work but it's in another state and the pay was enticing so I decided to go for it. I was scheduled for an interview the following Tuesday so I went to the bank to collect the money I will need for the traveling but when I get there I was told that my account have been frozen for an unknown reason.
I tried to get the money but nobody could help, I tried to get loan but still couldn't, I reached out to all my friends but they all told me the same story, I was so devastated that I don't know what to do. A day to interview I still couldn't get any money and my account is still frozen.
I called the guy and told him that I couldn't make it and I can't tell him the reason because I don't want him to think that I wanted to take advantage of him. He got angry that I wasted his effort but i told him that I am sorry.
I lost the opportunity because there is nobody to help and the bank held my money and refused to release it, everybody is telling me to forget about the job that maybe it was not meant for me but it hurts. It's been five years already but Everytime I remember I always think that maybe I'm not luck or something is actually wrong with me.
Why then of all the time did my account have to be frozen I don't understand but the only thing i know is that everything happen for a reason and I'm yet to know the reason why that happened then.
