The first principle of life is self love, loving one self is the vital foundation of our overall well being and for having a fulfilling life. Self love is very important because if you don't love yourself nobody will do, if you don't appreciate yourself believe me nobody will ever appreciate you. During the challenging time, I was so hard on myself, I didn't show any compassion and I blame myself for everything that is happening to me forgetting that I can only control what is within my capacity.

When everything was clear to me, I started loving myself for me, I prioritize in self care. Taking care of my self physically mentally and emotionally is the thing I prioritize on, eating an healthy food and give myself a restful sleep.

Creating awareness is also important, reflecting on ones thought, emotions and behavior can help to change the negative self talk to positivity. I tried to be mindful of my weakness and turn it to my strength.

I try to say no when needed and created the boundaries that protect my time, my energy and my emotions. I tried to prioritize my need over others, instead of pleasing others and suffer for it later and truly I see some changes.

Someone said to me to learn how to forgive myself in order to forgive others. To forgive the past mistake and always treat myself with much understanding and compassion so as to know how to treat others well and focus on how to grow myself.

Someone asked me how much do I love myself and I said I don't know, all I know is that I love myself. She laughed at me and said you don't really love yourself, i looked at her and said how and she asked me the question I least expected.

She said have you ever celebrate or acknowledge your achievement and I said no because I think there is nothing to celebrate. She said no matter how small the achievement may be you have to celebrate it, your milestone is worth celebrated and also, you have to celebrate your personal growth. She asked me to always surround myself with people who will always support me and uplift me and that is what I will try to do.
