Getting rid of unproductive habit

There are some habit that we know that are not productive and yet we still continue doing them. Different people with different habit most of the time, we know why we are doing it and sometimes we don't know and those habits are not easy to eliminate.

Most of the people try to eliminate the unproductive habit because it's weigh them the in some aspects of life but the truth is those habit is like an incurable disease the more you use drugs the worst it get. The most unproductive habit I have and have been trying to eliminate for a while now is procrastination.

I often find myself delaying tasks or putting them off until the last minute, which is kind of not good. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed by the difficulty of a task which always lead me to procrastinate trying to temporarily avoid dealing with it and by the time I decided to do it I will have to rush myself and I know that is part of me being lazy. Sometime, I just simply feel uninspired or not find motivation to do the task, causing me to delay the time of getting started.

Breaking the habit of procrastination is an ongoing effort for me, I have tried many things but doesn't seem to work. I even try different way I searched online to boost motivation and eliminate distractions, such as setting specific goals and setting a dead line for it and practicing mindfulness, it in the process though.

I hope I will be able to successfully eliminate the bad and unproductive habit of procrastination, it would make life to be much more productive and satisfying. I would have a greater sense of accomplishment as I will be able to complete tasks in a timely manner, I would also experience stress reduction and avoid the undesirable consequences of last-minute rushes.

There are many people with this habit and I think eliminating the habit of procrastination would positively impact the overall well-being and success in various aspects of life.
