The Final Results - A general tidy-up post to get up-to-date
Well that was quite an exciting end to the Premier League this year despite the relegation places being sorted out weeks ago!
Poor old Leicester bottled it...AGAIN and could only manage a Europa League place along with West Ham. Chelsea, despite having Frank Wankhard trying to sabotage their chances for half of the season managed to sneak into 4th and a Champions League spot and Liverpool, suddenly seemed to magically move from 7th to finish in 3rd place! Amazing.
Having got all that out of the way, I guess we better sort out TWO competitions and some prizes starting with Contest No. 304 and the Serie A game between Sampdoria and Parma.
So the final score was Sampdoria 3 : 0 Parma and the first goal was not unexpectedly scored by Fabio Quagliarella.
No one actually got the correct score but @harpreetjanda, @jfang003, @jersteemit, @ralph75 and @cetyoung all share the 5500 pot and take 1100+500 tokens home each!

And so onto Contest No.305: The big one and I have to be honest, that despite the prizes on offer it was a bit of a damp squib!
The game was West Ham v Southampton, it finished 3-0 in favour of the Hammers with Fornal scoring the first in the 30th minute. Leeds won so the jackpot was doubled so let's take a look and see if we had any winners...
Absolutely NO-ONE LOL.....seriously, I need some transfers during the close season! Most of you who entered didn't read the post and add the TIME OF THE FIRST GOAL to your comments and if someone had got that right, it would have been 25000 smackeroonies!

Great initiative my dude! Even though I've been on and off these posts have always been enjoyable to partake in. I'm looking forward to the continuation! May both Leeds and Arsenal place higher on the table next season.
If you look at the table, Arsenal were the form team in the last few weeks so hopefully they've turned a corner and will come back next season all 'gunners' blazing!
Thanks for the token. Feel sad for the Foxes, bottled it on the final day for two season in a row. I guess they will find aconsolation in lifting the FA cup
It is a shame. The goalie seems prone to a rush of blood in the head on occasion and I feel Leicester will need a rebuilding job as the team are getting older. It will be interesting to see what business they do in the transfer season.
Hmm am so sad right now I missed a lot from the weekend actions, maybe next time. Congrats to all those who took part as well.

If Liverpool didn't self destruct after christmas, it would have been a more exciting race for the title. In the end, the excitement was all about the CL spots.
Well done to leeds. 9th is a good finish in the first season back.
It would, both they and Arsenal won their last five games on the bounce and we were missing a little final day drama at both ends of the table.
Leeds' taking their eye off the ball at Brighton has ultimately cost them a European Spot so whilst appreciating the achievements, I can't help feeling just a tad disappointed!
