Mackerel Tuna With Traditional Chilli Sauce

Mackerel tuna is a fish that is easy to get in the market. The price is also affordable. However, the nutrient of the fish is high. It has great source of protein, minerals and calcium. The taste of meat is delicious too.

This morning I bought two steamed mackerel tunas from the market. Two mackerels are $1. They are big enough. I want to make fried mackerel tunas with chilli sauce.

Those are steamed mackerel tunas. They are still fresh from the pan. The meat has done but there is no taste. To make the meat taste great, I cook with chilli sauce.

First, I take out the fish gut, then removed the bones. Mackerel tuna has strong fish bone. The bone should be removed because it will harm us when we eat the fish.

Second, I cut the fish into two pieces. Then I cut the meat into small parts.

After all fishes are cut, I fry the small pieces of the fish meat.

Third, I grind some chillies, red onions and tomatoes. The result is raw chilli sauce. Then, I saute the sauce with little vegetable oil.

Fourth, I sautee the chilli sauce until the smell is fragrant. Then, I put all the pieces of meat in the frying pan. I stir slowly with little fire, and the mackerel tuna with chilli sauce is ready.

Serving suggestions

Mackerel tuna with chilli sauce is best served with white rice. The menu can be added with some vegetables like carrots, cabbages, and other vegetables.

One plate of rice, some carrots and cabbages will make you fill up for a long time. The protein and the mineral in the meat will make you feel enough to have this menu for lunch.
