Go Swimming With His Mates

It was my son's last day of holiday. He went swimming with his mates on Sunday morning. He has three best friends. He and his friends always play together. There are at the same age.

I did not go with my son. I just gave the pocket money to go. I also talked him to be careful in the swimming pool area " Don't run on the swimming pool!" I said to him.

He is growing now. He is eleven years old. He is brave enough to go out without my present. He sometimes sleeps over his friends.
He is in grade 4 now. In July 2024, he will enter grade 5 of primary school. In our habit, grade 5 and grade 6 of primary school, students start to find their personalities and identities because they are going to be teenagers. They like to debate their parents. In this term, as a parent, I should hear more often to my my son.

My son now often argue and give comment to what I talk to him. I realize that it is not good to talk like a child anymore to him. Now, I should position my self as a parent and as a friend. I sometimes talk to him about his hobby. I also like to share news about soccer. His hobby is soccer. He often plays soccer with his friends. He also likes to watch soccer match on TV.

I let my son spend much time with his friends because I know all his friends. I know the parents of his friends too. I often talk to the parents to watch out my son so do my parents' friends. I do not worry about my son social life because everything is controlled without my present. My son often rejects my present when he is hang out with his friends.
