What do you know about ZK-Proofs?

A new technology has been launched in the world of crypto known as “ZK-Proofs”. This technology provides an innovative way to integrate traditional web technologies with blockchain technologies through the use of the “Bonsai Pay” application. Any “Google” account can now be easily converted into a decentralized cryptocurrency wallet. .

This move enables users to send Ethereum (ETH) coins to “Gmail” accounts using “ZK-Proofs” technology. The new technology, developed by “RISC Zero”, allows Gmail users to receive ETH payments without the need for any additional settings.

Cryptocurrencies are transferred through an escrow contract on the Ethereum network, and recipients can redeem them by logging into Gmail and creating zero-knowledge proof.

This technology is based on technologies such as JSON-based identity tokens and the OpenID Connect protocol, with the core code written in Rust and using a special virtual machine called “RISC Zero zkVM”.

In addition, Bonsai Pay allows third-party developers to use this tool via API keys. These developments come at a time when the use of ZK proof is witnessing significant growth, especially with the recovery of the secondary building layers (L2s) of the Ethereum network.

Developers are also encouraged to test the protocol and share their feedback on GitHub. Proof of ZK is an effective way to verify the authenticity of information without revealing its details, and is increasingly used in layer 2 protocols on top of the Ethereum network.
