Weddings and wedding gift-Aprilinleo

Wedding attendance is generally not my favorite activity; however, you cannot conceal your emotions at your best friend's wedding. Weddings are hard to plan in this country, but there are a series of celebrations and traditions that lead up to the big day.

Following that, a ceremony known as walima takes place. Next, there will be a series of requests for dinner and snacks at each general's house. Luckily, this is only for the brides and grooms and their immediate family.

At this point, choosing gifts for the bride and groom-to-be was the hardest part. The amount I want to spend on it is up to me, but if it's someone close to you, even a small fortune wouldn't be enough.

In the past, gold jewelry for women and watches with gold chains for grooms were easy to find. But now, the price of gold has gone through the roof, making it impossible to buy a gold gift. At this point, I only have the choice of perfumes or things that make things smell better, which are common wedding gifts here.

In South Asian countries, weddings are the most honored events, with endless traditions, parties, and fun. Initially, the girl's and boy's families invite each other to their homes, bringing a variety of sweets and natural items for the girl, which her parents eventually accept.

The conversation revolves around the sacred duty between the two families, after which they decide when to hold the wedding and other events.

In this case, relationships are between two people and the happy parties that happen between their groups. These can last for a long time. The couple starts a new adventure in their lives thanks to the gifts their parents gave them.

For a typical wedding, these are a few tasks that are important:

Dholki:

Dholki, which is a pre-wedding service, is where it all starts. Family and friends gather to celebrate, playing a dholak drum. They sing and dance to wedding songs.

The mehndi is:

People do it by getting henna tattoos on all fours. Following certain rituals, visitors dress in lively clothes, sing wedding songs, and dance to the beat of the dholak.

Mayon:

This service involves keeping the lady of the hour away until the day of the nikkah and providing her with high-quality drugs to help her prepare.

The Nikkah ceremony:

During the Nikkah, the official Islamic wedding ceremony, the bride and groom would sign the marriage contract in front of their respective families. They are now legally married, according to both God and the law.

Baraat!

Today is the lucky man's big day. He brings his family and friends to the lady of the hour's house or wedding scene to take her with him. These days, both the girl and the lucky man wear heavy, woven traditional clothes.

After engaging in numerous games and customs, they serve a formal dinner featuring traditional Pakistani cuisine. The term "baraat" refers to the beginning of a couple living together.

It's full of feelings; after happy events comes the strong moment of saying goodbye. A couple drives away from the crime in a car that is full of fresh rose petals.

Walima:

It's the lucky man's way of letting everyone know about the marriage. A wonderful dinner feast is served. Love birds call guests together, which means they're going on another trip together. The celebrations for the wedding are over, and now the real life starts.

I finally decided on giving the couple cash as a gift. That's why I think it's the best gift for them: they can use it however they want.

I assume you enjoyed learning about Nepali wedding traditions and are eager to attend one. It's always fun to go to one and see all the different traditions and celebrations.

Pakistani weddings are really vibrant with energetic dance and different unique traditions, like dholki, Mehandi and other customs. The last wedding which I attended was that of my Puphoo. It was really full of fun.
