To be truly happy, you need to grow as a person

In the path of life we lead, we are always looking for that complete happiness, which fills us with satisfaction, to feel that happiness, that security within ourselves, in being the best version of ourselves. But if we do not have it, we must build it; if we have it, we must keep it and never lose that balance. To achieve happiness is also to be the best of ourselves; it is not to imitate other people to achieve it; it is first to be authentic and love ourselves.

Being the version of yourself is not about being perfect but being authentic as you are, looking for your strengths, and knowing your weaknesses. It is a moment of self-exploration to know yourself, not just wanting to be like others without knowing you first; it is the self-acceptance of you, of both your strengths and weaknesses, where our shortcomings we are committed to improving it because if you accept you and have your self-love is an essential step for the path of happiness. Where you take yourself as you are, you strengthen each of your weaknesses; this is where we start that beautiful path to personal growth. We begin to unlock each of the complete happiness and live a meaningful life authentically.

By taking the step of self-love to embrace authenticity and be true to yourself and how you are, you are building a solid foundation for yourself, which will help you grow up to the goals you set for yourself. First, to start a goal, you must know and accept yourself to strengthen yourself. Because stability and complete happiness are not static, they must always be in constant motion, constantly improving your version of yourself.

For example, if previously you did not exercise, you can start with a 5-minute walk. Maybe you will see it very little, but if you are going to start, it should be with small steps because if you propose something big to go for a 30-minute walk, you will not do it, but if you say you are going to go for a 5-minute walk is a simple task. It may be that when you are in that 5-minute walk, you will take it that same day 10 minutes, but if you do it only in the 5 minutes, do not feel bad because you already took the first step, and that is to do it, start a week with 5 minutes, then the following week increase a little time. This will depend on you, what you want to achieve, and the weaknesses you want to strengthen, and you must motivate yourself. That is why self-love is essential: a continuous commitment to yourself to cultivate your potential, nurture your relationships, and seek a purpose that gives meaning to your actions.

Complete happiness: the path to authenticity

So, we must understand that complete happiness is a path that must be continuous and that every step we take toward our best version brings us closer to authenticity every day. To be the best of oneself must always be to accept yourself as you are, with each of your virtues and even your defects, where the defects must be worked constantly, where your virtues can also make you enhance more of what you already are, it is a growth that will not be overnight. Still, it is progressive growth, where you will love and accept yourself daily and strengthen more.

You must be clear that sometimes you will feel alone, so embracing and loving yourself is essential. Sometimes, we depend on the love and motivation of another person to move forward. So, love and motivate you so those moments you feel alone do not decay. Always have a notebook where you can write down the strengths you are improving. You can even take a piece of paper to write on when you feel sad and let it go.

Emotional wellness: The foundation of happiness

Emotional wellness is one of the bases or keys to having complete happiness. We cultivate a path with balanced emotions where we must learn to manage our feelings and include them in our list of keys to practicing gratitude. This is very powerful in our lives, as it makes us see what we have, but in turn, it is also essential to nurture interpersonal relationships. To make happiness flourish is to promote those moments with ourselves and others, those connections we need in our lives.

Fullness of life: a commitment to oneself

We must cultivate a series of habits and aptitudes that promote our integral well-being, where we can practice inner peace. We must take into account self-compassion with ourselves. This is important because sometimes we punish ourselves harshly, or it demands too much of us. We must always care for our mind and body in the search for a purpose that helps us grow daily.


In summary, total happiness is the result of a process of continuous growth, in which we promise ourselves to improve, in turn, include habits that help us to strengthen every day, as well as explaining that going out walking is a habit that will help us both body and mind. Cultivating gratitude and self-love is very important to help us continue to grow steadily.

Ultimately, we must remember that being the best version of yourself is an act of self-love and courage because you deserve to live a whole and happy life, and that happiness begins from within. To be reflected outwardly is to embrace your authenticity and commit to being the best version of yourself; every day, you will take an essential step towards self-realization and the pursuit of the complete happiness you long for because joy is not static but in progressive movement.
