Intro

In nature it is now summer and the Bengali calendar is the month of Baishakh and the English calendar is at the end of April. Paddy has started ripening at this time like every year. When you go to the beel or the land, you can see only ripe paddy and ripe paddy around. These golden paddy are the cause of laughter in the eyes of the farmers. Because at this time the farmer wants to take his dream crop home and store the food all year round. So when the yield of these golden paddy is good, the image of happiness floats in the eyes of the farmer.

The relationship between paddy and Bengalis

Paddy is the main food grain of Bangladesh. Therefore, different varieties of paddy are cultivated in all regions of Bangladesh. But at the present time Erie is the rice ripening season.And to meet the demand for this food grain, paddy is cultivated all over the country. Due to the low land area in Bangladesh, good paddy is cultivated in them.Since rice is our main food grain, we cannot imagine a single moment without rice. So we have a close relationship with rice.

The reason I like paddy land or ripe paddy

Bangladesh is an agricultural country. Most of the people in this country are involved in agricultural work. However, at present Bangladesh is at the peak of development and the agricultural landscape has changed. Even then, most of the people in the rural areas are involved in agriculture.

There was a time when I was also involved in agricultural work. I used to cultivate a lot of paddy in the land especially when I was readq school and college. Then when I went to the land to harvest this paddy season and saw a good crop of paddy, my mind was filled with joy and it seemed as if my suffering had been fulfilled.

Although at present I am not directly involved in agricultural work. But because my father farms on a small plot of land, I have to go to the farm from time to time to help him. So when I go to the paddy field in this season of ripe paddy, the memories of the past come to the fore. Joy rises in one corner of the mind. Moreover, these scenes are very captivating to watch. Not only me but also those who are not involved in agriculture find these scenes amazing and they too are fascinated and lose themselves in the smell of new paddy
