January Blogging Recap: My Online Earnings Revealed

We welcomed February of 2024 today! One whole month into the new year has passed :) Many of you are already checking your goals, I hope that everything is great for you and that you managed to exceed your expectations.

In this month, I had one goal. To remain healthy, try not to leave my work behind, to be prepared and take the exams for my last MSc course.

Well, I did it! I did it all. Maybe not in the best way, but it was impossible to leave something behind. (Well, maybe I left myself to crave for some extra rest..)

Even though I posted every day in January, and was active every day on Medium, hive, inleo.io - My earnings decreased from December 2023.

Let's see more details.

In this post, as I do every month, I will share my last months' earnings from online activities.

January 2024. A very demanding month. My 2 jobs, family, studying, and daily online activity. I am now wondering how I made it :)

I will below analyze the earnings from my blogging activities, through:

• Medium
• Publish0x
• AttaPoll
• Photo Donations (from Pexels)

Hive - InLeo

This month I saw a decrease in my earnings, but they managed to remain over the $100.

The total amount earned for the month of December is $150, as opposed to last month $198

It's worth to note that my best-ever month in 2023 was February where the total amount equaled to $256.

Medium!

I managed to stay close to $200 but could not reach the amount of $213,97 of previous month.

For you who do not know, Medium is an author's platform where you can write posts and be rewarded as per the views of the subscribers (it costs 5$ a month to be a subscriber or 15$ a month if you want to be added to the extra tier). You are required to give your full KYC & Tax info and get paid via Stripe on a monthly basis.

After November, I signed up in November for the FOM (Friend of Medium Subscription) which is a 15$ charge per month and I also have managed to be very consistent with my curation on Medium.

This month I only made one post, and I did not visit the site on a daily basis.
The monthly earned amount was less than 0.50

Other side hustles

I received 0 $ from Pexels donations to my images, 0 for one of my free books in gumroad and I received 0$ in AttaPoll - Surveys. In total, $0 :)

In total the earnings of January were: $338
*(Last months was $421)

As always most of the amounts in hive are not moved, but invested in the platform itself. From next month, I will also track my Holozing $zing tokens. The amounts of medium are transferred to my bank (and have been spent until now for personal expenses and for paying the medium subscription of 15$ as well as the twitter subscription for appx 10$.)
