Hive is added to the Binance Simple Earn. What does it mean?
In case you missed the news, Binance just added HIVE to its Earn program!
I think that this is very important, but I really want to hear your opinion about it.
I am not sure if this will bring any upside movements to Hive, but I will send some Hive over. I am also thinking of creating a tutorial and uploading it to Binance Square.
It seems that today the reaction to the announcement was not significant, but there was a small reaction upwards.

So, what happens if a hive user keeps hive and locks it on hive?
- The user receives an appx 3% APR on their locked tokens
- But there is more. Keeping Powered Up Hive, gives the user more power in the platform, and more curation rewards when they are upvoting user posts.
What does Binance Offer?
Promotion Period: Subscriptions must take place between 2024-04-23 10:00 (UTC) and 2024-10-23 09:59 (UTC) to count as eligible subscriptions.
So, for you to receive the greatest APR of 4% (During the promotion period), you will need to lock $hive for 3 months.
The good thing is that rewards are distributed in a daily basis.
I see this as an opportunity for more people to discover, search and learn about Hive. Imagine if it does a +20% in price, it will definitely get some heads turning!
For now, I will send some Hive to Binance and lock them for 90 days!

This is a great opportunity to increase Hive on a daily basis via binance staking thanks for sharing. Coach can you please tell me how writing on Binance Square gives monetary benefits other than people tipping you? If you have already made a guide on it please can you share link to it as I will be bookmarking this post too for future reference.

There are no other monetary benefits. There are some promotions, but you need to be in the Binance Official Server on Telegram and it is too difficult, it requires much effort that I dont know if it's worth it when starting from zero.

Better than nothing... With a bit of proper marketing, Hive would easily be a top 50 project on coinmarketcap.

If I lock them down here (powerup) I get much more apr!?
I think something up to 10% is possible and avarage should be about 7%
I think this is only to "park" some liquid Hive. E.g. I also have some liquid Hive which I quickly want to sell in case the price rises. So for this it could be a good option. Of course to powerdown to get a 4% instead of the 10-11% as HP it would make no sense at all!
But they are not liquid, they are locked for 3 Month, I think after 3 Month they have to be locked again?
So it makes no sense, because powering up isbetter you can unlackiert them in 4 Weeks, if you have enough HP you can unlock them in 1 Week ( powerdown 4x, stopp after first paypout), and if I am not wrong you will continue receiving during this time your rewards.
Indeed. But locking consecutively 4x for 90d would bring theoretically 16% per year. Actually not too bad.
But given the risk (see my other comment) I would probably not do it.

But there is still the risk of leaving Hive at an exchange. Hive in the past had some issues with Binance, where e.g. withdrawals were suspended for weeks! E.g. you do not own the Hive while they are at Binance!
One has to have this risk in mind before putting his Hive there!
This brings eyes to Hive. A positive development
Like many other Binance features, I wonder whether this will be unavailable in the UK. I think I'll get a better deal by converting HIVE to HBD and moving them to Savings.
This is a good news for all of us who have been working on this platform for a long time now they can earn some money doing it this way too.
