Hey there Che, good to see you are actively posting after a long time. The US dollar is on its way down as BRICS gold backed currency emerges to compete with it. A global clash of west versus the rest. It could lead to a war of course. My ZAR has lost so much value as part of BRICS and is the weakest it has ever been. Fortunately my money is in crypto hehehe.

I don't believe in a currency backed by gold with authoritarian regimes like in China and Russia. Even among the Bricks members, you have some members who will try to dominate the others and a clash might occur.
Yes China cannot be trusted in this deal. Debt trap diplomacy is their tool. Much like the IMF before them.
