My weekend walking in The Exhibition Park
Hello friends of HIVE. Today I want to share with you my nice experience visiting the "Parque de la Exposición" is a park located in the centre of Lima, the capital of Peru in which I currently live, this park was inaugurated in 1872 has some historical buildings, an amphitheater and three museums among them: The MALI (Museo de Arte de Lima) which was designed by Antonio Leonardi this museum has collections of pre-Columbian, colonial, 19th and 20th century and contemporary art, the Museo Metropolitano de Lima and the Museo de Arte Italiano. In the 70's, it was barred which caused its deterioration. Later, during the celebration of the 100 years of relations between Peru and Japan, the Japanese Central Society (today the Japanese Peruvian Association) donated the Japanese Garden to the city of Lima, which was inaugurated on March 25th, 1974.
In 1999 at that time Mayor Andrade began a process of remodelling, lakes and the Nicomedes Santa Cruz amphitheatre were built, and the park was then opened to the public. The park was renamed Gran Parque de Lima, but during the municipal government of Luis Castañeda it was returned to its original name.
I usually don't go out much on the weekend because I stay at home watching a series or a movie but I wanted to break the routine by walking and breathing some fresh air and above all admiring some of the nature that is in the centre of my city, I love animals and I took the opportunity to take pictures of the ducks and other animals that were in the fountain. There was also entertainment in the amphitheatre and food stalls where some people enjoyed the place.

Wow, it is a nice park
Yes, it does, and it also has a lot of history.
It is great to have parks like this, I would often go if I had one in my town. The Byzantine Pavilion is so nice 😌
You didn't go alone, right? Walking in such placer is nicer with some company :))
That's right, that pavilion is very nice. I went with a friend as you can see in the last picture.
What a nice park to go for a walk on the weekends and spend a pleasant time in.
Greetings and blessings
