The Human Factor: Tipping The Universal Scale Of Balance

I was seeing Alice in Borderland a breathtaking post-apocalyptic TV series.

One thing about TV series such as this is that they tend to center around the survival of humans on the brink of extinction. From into the badlands, to walking dead, it's easy to see the central message.

It's about survival, means, and human flaws. One of the reasons why we might not truly understand the concept of these TV series is that firstly, we call deem them to be fictitious (which is truly the genre) and secondly, we still have the amenities, right circumstances, stable world resources and situation to still handle our shenanigans.

Asking The Rare Questions

For example, money is still relevant and mostly gets things done, the air we breathe is still sustainable and the universe is still functioning fine, although there's no certainty it would be like that for too long.

This is because we're tapping hard into the fabrics of human existence, testing fate with failed experiments and many more. Some people are playing God with human lives, and this is one of the things that led to COVID-19.

So if you think humanity is entirely safe from hitting the "fail switch" just remember that something as COVID happened, and who's to say something 10x deadlier wouldn't happen and tip the jar of human existence and set us back into a bizarre world of survival games, hunger, death, and uncertainty?

The Thoughts Of Borderlessness

What if we reach that point where people cannot even work, access their properties, or see their loved ones? What if we reach that stage where the world becomes borderless, destroying the concept or evidence of wealth and everyone becomes forcefully equal irrespective of their previous financial background?

These things seem impossible by miles, but if you look at the 21st-century trends you'd begin to think differently.

One of the reasons why crypto is thriving is not because of the "value argument" that most governments and individuals are making. One of the reasons is that the world will no longer remain traditional, just as it has always been.

Why Should You Trust Traditional Systems?

There are people who are exploiting the financial systems to make millions, banks are even using the money however they please rather than acting as banks alone.

There are entities who are responsible for keeping the world salient and at an equilibrium level, but when these entities begin to experiment with what they shouldn't, then people begin to feel threatened and begin to seek succor outside the system.

That is what is currently happening. No one trusts traditional banks anymore. They're beginning to be shady, and this shadiness can get to a tipping point and messes us with things.

COVID-19: Tipping The Scale Of Normalcy

This is to say that, human unwarranted actions can tip the balance of normalcy, which can spiral into destructive ripples. Crippling systems that have been set in place and taking us back to ground zero.

For example, The ripple effect of COVID is still there; as the recession and the constant shutdown of businesses globally. All these were unknowingly engineered, without the culprits knowing of the consequences.

All I'm saying is that while the fabric and structure of the universe is solid, human actions can alter this balance and the world might hit reset, a place where accessibility to everything that defines us is taken away. One of the things that defines us is money.

The Bane Of The "Human Factor"

The truth is that money provides us with accessibility, and we can agree that we're doomed if money becomes nonfunctional and people would need to rely on unconventional means to survive.

The world's not safe from extinction and this is because of the "human factor". I fear that there are people who might get adventurous and mess with already thriving and functional systems.

In crypto, we see this happening with Do Kwon & SBF. it's just inevitable, people like to mess with things for experimental purposes and their gains as well, and not mindful of the consequences.

Anything is possible with humanity because we've deemed it so, the great reset is a possibility. It's like constantly smashing an egg on a hard surface and expecting it not to break.

Money is relevant and it will continue to be relevant
We need money in life
It is needed for every activity

The idea is, a reality where money is not relevant is not impossible. The world is at a tipping point and everything we deem impossible 100 years ago is now possible.

What is relevant is the use case for things. If money can't get them the goods to survive, then it would be worthless. I have read a lot of those apocalypses novels (usually translated from chinese/korean/japanese sources) and it depends. If there is someone who can use gold, then it is worth something. As for fiat, I don't think it will matter unless the one printing it has power to back up the value.

You're totally correct. The use of things with utility and value will always remain relevant. I believe the traditional fiat system we have might follow this route. As for gold and other valuable, yes, they might carry the sort of value that fiat wouldn't especially in a scenario where people begin to measure value differently from what fiat offers. I hope we do not get to this stage.

Eventually, the egg will break and the ramifications of that will be life changing to many many people. I think the human ecosystem is more fragile than ever and many of the experiments to fix the fragility are actually a way to make it more fragile. I like to ponder on the implicit meanings behind post apocalyptic movies because it's always a possibility in the future of humanity.

Sincerely, it's not entirely fictitious as we might know. There TV series portray the human nature to the latter. When you look at the universe, you can feel that it's more fragile than ever, this is because there are entities that will keep tapping into that fragility for their selfish purpose, until it caves in.

Indeed. I wonder why it is protrayed as fictitious when there's much truth in it. Then all hell will break loose when that happens and they clearly wouldn't be exempted from the consequences.

One of the points that hit me while reading this article is how humans have substituted simplicity for getting rich, acquiring wealth at all costs at the expense of the next person even if it causes the death of that person.

As much as life is good to live, should the Almighty decides to show us who is the boss, I wouldn't mind it. Let's all be humbled. A great reset, will that ever happen though?

People aiming to make money without thinking about the consequences is why we're exactly where we are. For example, I don't think COVID is a natural occurrence, it was engineered and some people took advantage of it to make money by any means necessary. Until this changes, I feel that we're always going to remain on the brink.

I got on Twitter today and I saw the Suicoin fellas messing with the community ideology. A lot of people are screaming about scams and they are not happy. This is the kind of apocalypse scenario that could turn our fight for survival upside down.

I don't even want to talk about other rug pulls that have been happening since we started.

Or is it the traditional system that we all know is a messed up entity that I want to talk about? A big NO!

It's these things that will make humans seek refuge in unconventional means of survival. Our survival instinct and senses will definitely get heightened when we feel terror and anguish coming. The only thing we can do is plan for things we do not expect.... Because it's always things we never considered will happen.

I don't know about sucoin, but all I know is that there are people who do not mind pulling down systems because of their own gains. This is the situation in traditional systems too. Now unconventional systems are now being invaded by people who just wants to make money no matter what.
Like you said, people would seek survival at all cost especially when they're threatened, I just feel the world isn't safe. COVID was a big lesson.

You are right with all you said, what would life have been without the use of money?? Money is a valuable asset that everyone needs either in a large scale or small..

Life is all about survival and we all want to survive and that is why we people countries dominating each other, we see killing and many more. The way you survive is very important and that is what we must do right but survive

You're right, survival is an Inevitability in life and sometimes, countries, people, go to the extreme to get it.

Since the advent of COVID, I’ve been scared shitless what other unethical experiments some mad scientists around the world are performing under covers that could as well be the end of us. Seriously. There are tons of these experiments happening everyday, even long before COVID happened. COVID just happened to be the one that couldn’t be contained. I’m sure that even today, we still have a lot of those happening under our noses.

Nothing centralized can be trusted now because after the Silicon Valley incident, this is now bigger than crypto. Even people who were scared of the crypto revolution and put their money into banks like Silicon Valley’s ended up where they were afraid of.

Off-topic. Man I’m starting to think someone is showing you movies I plan to watch ahead of time now. Lol I’ve seen trailers of this Alice in Borderlands all over the place, put it on my to-watch list a while back and forgot of it. Now that you mention it, I should head back to it and check it out after I’m done with this 13 Reasons Why.
