November: Picking Up The Little Pieces

IMG_3963-01.jpeg

It's the month of November, and I remember powering up last month, but I was just too numb to put up a post. I powered up 300 hive last month, and I'm also powering up 220 hive for this month. I haven't paid much attention to some of my hive goals, as well as my other hive-engine token goals.

Since my brother's passing, I've been mostly on and off the chain, mostly because I haven't found the balance to commit to some other aspects of my life. I'm trying to do damage control.

Some of the goals I've put out from November, I mostly met 80% of them in September, but I haven't set new ones as I have been on the mend. It's the first time I've been off hive in the past 6 years for a long time, and I thank everyone who has particularly been empathetic and helpful in these previous two months. I thought I could take on another job to pay the bills and buy more hive in August, but I couldn't do that.

I haven't also been able to take on another job as my health is a bit shaky and I want to ease off the stress and stay stable.

I'm still sticking to my life goals

I want to be able to show up, keep busy, and keep up with my hive-engine tokens, as much as they seem like "work", it's actually helping to keep me stable and keep my mind off the devastation that's currently been plaguing me. I have been making plans to go to the hospital to do some tests and consultations.

The whole process is already mind-boggling even if I haven't started. It's one of the reasons why I don't go to hospitals. The process required to get the adequate care you desire is always too stressful.

However, I still have to look for a less stressful option. Just to run some tests, clear my doubts or fears, and try to maybe get medications or change lifestyle. So if I'm going to be considering the chance of being heavily involved in another job, I'll probably have to do this by January.

For now, I'm just trying to fit in more activities into my time, this involves mostly gaming, replying to comments on Hive, and mostly curation....

I'm more actively involved in curation nowadays, as it is one aspect I dedicate a lot of my free time to. I find out that I spend more time reading more posts relating to splinterlands, crypto as well as hive, and people who are building up their portfolios and making predictions for next year as well. I mostly read, but rather than leave comments, I just curate or bookmark for another time.

I've potentially lost the zest to actively participate in interaction, especially with the accounts I'm mostly affiliated with, and the communities I'm actively involved with.

I'm more of a reflective person these days

.....reacting rather than acting. It's been a blessing to have the Hive Blockchain, as it would have been too difficult for me, if I didn't, in this period. it's been a devastating three months for me, and I've spent it mostly in tears, pain trepidation, fear, and anxiety. I manage to show up for the sake of putting my free time to good use and for the sake of my mental health too.

Hive has been doing fairly well, sticking to the $0.30 to $0.34 range. It's actually a terrible time to sell Hive, as it's the right time to accumulate.

I've seen predictions for Hive in 2025.

I've seen 20$ and while I doubt these parameters, I believe Hive can do $6 or $7 in 2025 and do $2 by the end of 2024. There might be changes to this if the ETFs are approved and the SEC takes a backbench. So here, I'll be hoping to power up another 200-plus hive by the beginning of December.

I'm still actively curating, while looking to get back what was left of myself before the tragedy of September happened to me. Stay safe, keep building your goals, and stay refreshed.

Hey man I know things are tough but we have to keep going on. It’s never going to be back to what was there before but an important thing about being an adult is picking ourselves up after a tragedy and finding the right path to take but a path nonetheless.

I’m not trying to sound insensitive but perhaps to try and help you move forward, with the knowledge that your brother is not here but also with the knowledge that he would want you to get back on the horse because that’s what we need to do, while not forgetting about him at all but appreciating what he taught you and become a better person because of it.

Hope you understand my perspective and care for you as a friend!

Losing him wasn't the only pain I've had to nurse, I've had to nurse losing the only relative I have left. The scar and the emptiness. He was just too young and had a whole life ahead of him. Knowing all these is torture for me. All my plans to move forward hasn't worked. So I'm still stuck. It's taking too long and time isn't doing enough justice.

I am sure the price of Hive will follow an uptrend very soon.
My hope was to hold some liquidity before the prices soar, but I put most of my holding in the Presale of Rebellion packs.
Peace

It doesn't matter if the amount is big or small, it shows how much a person loves the project and from what I've seen, that's what everyone was posting about.
