Life Update: The Sentiment Of Gratitude

IMG_3833-1-02.jpeg

Gratitude is the sentiment we hold when we've been recipients of unconditional kindness, and we can never truly pay back. Sometimes, we eventually make an effort to pay back, but I feel that we can never correctly quantity sacrifice or goodwill especially when we try to use money to do so. Money is not a measure of love, while it makes life comfortable, we can never truly pay.

I see my life as a miracle made possible by some people who have been divinely impacted to do so. This isn't to say I haven't been good to them too, I just feel that I cannot truly pay back, because their impact and sacrifice are priceless. Sometimes I used to tell people to show more than gratitude. I feel that gratitude without an in-depth understanding of the sacrifice of another person is mostly useless. The burden of understanding the depth of understanding is a good thing to carry.

Knowing there's someone who made an impact on your life and understanding that you cannot truly pay them back is a good thing. This is because it makes gratitude reside in you. Holding on to gratitude helps you hold people in high esteem, especially if they are tilted. People cannot be completely good throughout their lifetime, this is why it's good to hold in and remember the good times. In life, the people we call family are the ones who are there when the ovation is low. This is because they're naturally designed by default to do so.

Some people are designed to only be there when the ovation is loudest.

It's not their fault, it's how life wills it People are designed with specific functions and there are times these functions manifest. This is why it's important to understand that people who are there when the world leaves, are the people who are true family. It's important to realize that we can never pay them back, no matter what we do. No matter the value we give, understanding this fact, creates a burden of sacrifice within us. In the world, we have people who would trade surface gratitude for some form of goodwill.

It's a transactional world

.....and it's important to realize that when you stop this cyclical phase you're no longer useful or viable. Of course, it's important to remain relevant, however, we cannot remain relevant forever, no matter how hard we try. Life becomes clearer when you lose over 80% of your relevance and this is when you truly begin to live. Life has phases, the most important phase is when you are reactive, talk less, and listen more. This comes by default

Experiencing life in all its vicissitudes is what everyone eventually does, sadly some people experience it too early. Passing through life's phases prematurely is a terrible thing to do, but reality is harsh, and it'll continue to be like that.
Of course, we cannot live alone. Even the people who are temporal in our lives are part of the learning tool to the ultimate curve of understanding. Without them, it's difficult to truly understand reality.

Reality isn't beautiful alone.

It's the experiences we have and what we make of them. At the end of the day, everyone is important in our lives. They might be negatively or positively important. It's not everyone good that we need to befriend or have as colleagues, workmates, and neighbors. People come, we don't need them to be good to have any affinity with them. However, having this sieve, to truly understand the populace from those who truly matter is key.

Some people don’t really care but they act like they care. They just want something from you and that’s why they’re still hanging around
At the end of the day, we’re all by ourselves

you're correct. At the end of the day, it's truly you, by yourself and that's hard fact to swallow

It's important to realize that we can never pay them back, no matter what we do.

If we say we will pay the people who stood by us in tough times,it will never be enough, we might end up giving them our lives. There is no amount of gratitude to justify that! But it's important to hold them in high esteem

Exactly, we can never truly pay them back no matter how hard we try. We can only make effort.

People do come and go. Most people focus more on themselves and to an extent, that also applies to me. I would definitely appreciate the people who do stick around to the end despite all the issues.

In the same way, if we are very nice to all people, it also hurts us one day when people do not treat us in the same way and do not like their attitude towards us at all. So later we feel a lot of sadness and we think that we wish we didn't get along well with that person.
