The Great 'B.C.' Adventure!

A few weeks ago I left Newfoundland, Canada.

I documented my trip across the country and like I said, I went through multiple time zones and basically every province in Canada.

Except the one that's furthest west...

So on Friday, my journey to British Columbia began and it will be my home for the next few weeks.

I decided to take a lot of pictures along the way, and share with you some of the sights along the Yellowhead Highway and a few in Vancouver, where I currently am.

Hope you enjoy them :)

This is the Alberta / British Columbia border. I drove through Jasper National Park and right into Mount Robson Provincial Park along the way.

Before I got to Mount Robson, I had to drive for a few miles beside Moose Lake.

The mountain on the left literally ends and begins right at the waters edge. It's such a spectacular lake especially at this time of year.

The highlight of my drive!

Mount Robson - The highest peak in the Canadian Rockies at almost 4,000 metres.

I REALLY love this mountain...

...Like REALLY love this mountain. It is majestic beyond words and every time I drive this route, I always stop to just take it all in.

One of the sad realities of British Columbia in the summer is..Forest fires. And just a week before I made the drive, some fires destroyed entire towns in B.C.

This was a small blaze that was close to the highway but didn't seem to be out of control...Yet :(

A drive through British Columbia is...

What's the word I'm looking for?

Perfect!

After a 12 hour drive from Edmonton, I finally arrived in Vancouver.

And of course, the first thing I did was...Head to the beach!

Yes, Canada has beaches...And even palm trees here in the city lol

With North Vancouver across the inlet, the views from Stanley Park can be breathtaking!

Lots of ships on the water this past weekend :)

And finally...It may not be the Golden Gate bridge, but Lion's Gate Bridge is pretty spectacular regardless!

And that's the first few days in the province. I'll be taking a lot more pics over the next few weeks as well.

Hope you enjoy the journey with me!
