I'm getting ready to jump back into America after the weekend up north in Canada.
It was a fantastic trip because I got to see a lot of my friends and family, as I actually had to deliver a load in Toronto and around Ottawa.
I got to have dinner with my pops, and meet up with a few friends.
Which brings me to the 'up north trip' that I just completed.....
Toronto to Ottawa to Sault Ste. Marie.....Then to Marathon and finally Hornepayne....
You may wanna Google those last two places, let's just say it was in the bush lol
But now I'm back in the Soo (Sault Ste Marie) about to do my laundry and then hit the sack....
Crossing the border into Michigan tomorrow :)

Oooh, if you have the space for your rig, you need to check out Clyde's when you cross over in to Michigan. Best burgers in the UP. There are only three locations, one in the Soo, one in St. Ignace, and then one Manistique? Where are you heading once you cross into the Mitten State?

They border each other, so just crossing the imaginary line lol but depends where you want to go, both countries are massive in size.

Welcome to trucking! I did it for 27 yrs here in the states and loved every bump in the road. I ran mostly the eastern half of the states north to south so if you ever want or need a tip, trick or looking for a good place to eat hit me up. I could probably tell you some nice quiet safe places to park and get great food and hot showers. When you head back into Canada if you go through Sarnia wave as you go by Lansing, MI. I'll be 15 miles north of you waving back!

The furthest I ever got into Canada was Toronto. But I went everywhere else in the eastern US. It really is a blast when you adapt to the lifestyle. It's definitely not a job or a career. It is a life style.
