I made it back to America yesterday and got through quite a few states in 48 hours...
Started out in Michigan and got to cross the Mackinac Bridge...I called it the macki-naw bridge, so apoologies about that lol
What an experience that was...Took me about 7 minutes to drive across it, and I recorded the entire trip!
Then onto Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, back to Ohio....And now I'm in Kentucky, ready to load up for the trip back to Canada.
I have decisions to make....
I can go back the way I came....Or maybe even take a route that is a bit longer but takes me through St Louis, and Kansas City....Two cities that I've never been to!
Have I mentioned that I really love this trucking thing :)

5 miles....took me 7 and a half minutes to drive across it.
Don't feel bad, it is still pronounced Mackinaw like the city even though it is spelled Mackinac. Just be glad you didn't have to wait for the ferry like they did back when my parents were kids. Going over the bridge is quite the experience. Even though I have done it probably close to 100 times, it still amazes me every time you make that five mile journey from end to end.

I loved watching your video. If you looked off to the left as you were crossing, you probably saw Mackinaw Island. It's pretty famous. You are lucky you didn't need an escort across the bridge. When the winds get bad they escort large trucks in a convoy to keep their speed in check.
I would like that job as well because I would be free during the transportation.
