Wishing the best for ya man. Sucks that happened and how they are most likely getting away with it for now. But here's the good news at least now you don't have to deal with their a$$ anymore and it opens you up to new and better opportunities.

I think if this is how the industry goes this may not be sustainable.Local delivery gigs sound far more lucrative and safe. I hope you take the right career decision from now. Have a good week ahead :)

Man that’s some garbage. I would be finding another company quick and never run another mile for them.

I’ll watch your video later but that’s sounding like some job hunting is in order, to find a new company. There are times you just have to.

It's sad to hear about what they're doing on your salary. Definitely stupidity, creating a loop that never ends. Appreciate the journey and find a way to look forward to a better job. Best of luck to you :)

That's exactly it. And they continue to 'hire' new drivers that are unaware that they wont get paid.

I think the most important one is whether you want to do this job.

That sucks! I am sorry they weren't able to keep their stuff in order so that you could get what you are owed. Hopefully this will work out better and you can find a place that allows you to stay in Canada and closer to home.

Right, or at least in the country so you don't have to deal with the border lines.

Looks like they made the decision easy for you. If there is a way to check the reputability of the trucking company when you join them, that could spare you of the experience of working without getting paid. Hope the next one will be the right one for you!

Whats crazy, they had a great reputation before. All the drivers loved them. But they just mishandled this and put their drivers on the bottom of the priority list.

Hope you can find another trucking company that will pay. I know you enjoy that driving. Sorry you and your family are having to deal with all that frustration.

Detailed Article:
In this episode, a truck driver recounts his troubling ordeal working for a company in Northern Ontario. He describes his affection for the region but delves into the hardships he faced with his employer. A prominent issue discussed is the company's failure to honor their payment commitments, leading to bounced checks and leaving the driver unpaid for his labor. This situation not only reflects a breach of trust but also brings about financial difficulties for the driver and his family, underscoring the real-world implications of such broken promises.

Moreover, the driver sheds light on the unreliability of the fuel cards provided by the company, exacerbating the challenges he faces. With only one out of the four cards functioning, concerns about having enough fuel to make it home emerge as a pressing issue. This further emphasizes the series of obstacles and inconveniences the driver has encountered while employed with this particular company.

Despite expressing a genuine appreciation for the job itself, the driver recognizes the necessity of parting ways with the company and seeking new employment opportunities. The decision to find a reputable and fair-paying employer illustrates his commitment to securing a better work environment and ensuring just compensation for his efforts. This narrative serves as a cautionary tale for others in the trucking industry, warning them to exercise caution and vigilance when selecting potential employers to avoid similar predicaments.

In closing, the driver articulates his intention to explore new job prospects and remains optimistic about the prospect of a more positive and rewarding experience with a different company in the future. His determination to share his experiences through future videos about trucking signifies not only a desire to continue contributing to the community but also a resilient attitude towards overcoming challenges and seeking better opportunities. This episode resonates as a narrative of resilience, perseverance, and the pursuit of a more fulfilling professional journey in the face of adversity.
