I got big dreams for my journey here on Hive....
I believe in this blockchain so much, it's hard to put into words exactly what my journey has meant. I've gotten to build relationships with so many amazing people. I've traveled around the world to hang out with them. I'm always looking on ways to bring more value to the entire chain...
But it doesn't just 'happen'...You've got to put in the time and effort...And if you really want your account to grow, you need to put in the money.
We had a little pump last week and saw how exciting this chain can be when the price rises! But at the end of the day, a lot of us are here to build something huge...Regardless of the price.
That's our journey...That's what keeps a lot of us fired up and coming back each and every day!
And I truly believe the only way I can help out my tribe and the entire blockchain, is if I'm always growing my account to give as much back as possible...
Let's see how my Hive journey has gone over the past 7 days...
100,000 Hive Power
70,409.373 Hive Power...I surpassed the 70k threshold and under 30k less to hit my goal...
I've got 4 months roughly left in the year to pull it off, so it's going to take some maneuvering, but hey, we'll get there :)
100,000 - 70,409.373 = 29,590.63 left to go!!!
25 Rewards Per Post
Welp....
We bumped it up a little but this past week...!
19.446 rewards per post this week, up from 19.432. Still way off from where I want to be.
And curation was down a little last week, but author rewards were up.
Still, this is the never ending battle towards 25 rewards per post!

@PixiePost is almost there and will become the 7th Dolphin in the tribe VERY soon...Like tomorrow or the next day!
This is amazing and just shows you how awesome our little community is.

wow you are doing great Jon I remember when we first started on here you thought 5,000 was a great goal then 25,000 after that now going for 100,000 wow you will make it for sure and then some.
It's been a journey for sure man...LOL
Loving it though...Still got 2.5 years until I look and try to make a living off this stuff lol
True but when we first started it was looking like it was going to take a lot longer than that. You have been crushing it and I do not think it will take you that long.
Well I mean lol When I joined, the token was trading at like 3 bucks or something each lol

Wow, 100k is huge! My goal now is to reach dolphin status; gave myself until next April, when I make 3 years on thw platform. Frankly, I hope to reach it way sooner! Good luck on your journey!

This demonstrates great commitment to an, essentially, unknown entity,
having the belief and understanding that this is a time process and that over time as amounts increase and we see more and more activity - we just know that this is going to be epic.
Keeping track of the stats is a great way to watch growth, doing it weekly shows where things need to improve and where they need to improve.
Because after all there is only ever room for improvement.

Thanks man, working on it...Every day, just trying to stack a little bit more...It's not the most exciting journey doing it slow and steady but it's working :)
When you look at 29'000 HP from the perspective of a small fish, it seems impossible to reach. However I'm pretty sure you are going to make it to 100'000 by the end of the year!
Or VERY close to it. I love sticking the big goals in front so that it pushes me...I'll do everything in my power to get there :)

I think it goes back to early Steem. A way to have almost liquid steem be a part of the rewards pool without the needed 13 week powerdown. Or it could be something entirely different!

To be honest, when I joined, I had the goal of being here 5 years and investing my time and energy into the blockchain...No idea what my end goal was when it came to Hive Power, but I thought hitting 5k in the first year would have been massive.
Exciting times now and ahead. It is so fantastic to see everyone thriving on hive and CTPTALK. Building building building. That is why I am here everyday. 384 of them without missing one. 400 my next milestone.
