Get Uncomfortable

I am not exactly sure why I started looking at some old pictures on my phone tonight...

But somehow I got to July 16th, 2016 and this one popped up!

This year, I felt like I was on top of the world....

The previous summer, I got married to the woman of my dreams. We owned a nice home, nothing too fancy but it was ours. My home office truly was my sanctuary. I was creating content, marketing my businesses and building what I thought was going to be an epic future.

The face in that picture screams excitement. Little did I know....My life was about to become extremely uncomfortable lol

But what came from the fallout was the discovery of this blockchain!

I've been outside my comfort zone now going on 7 years now but this lesson always hits me. You see, for me....When you are comfortable, nothing changes. And without change, you cannot grow.

Because I was 'comfortable' in that picture, I was not ready for the trials that were headed my way. Now that I am outside of that zone...I truly feel like I can climb any mountain. Adversity really does build character and I do hope I'm a better man now than I was all those years ago.

Nothing too deep tonight, just an picture with a great message, a smiling face...And the knowledge of that if you don't get uncomfortable every day in your online business, you may never be able to survive the storms that are surely headed your way.

What you wrote is absolutely true, if we don't get out of the comfort zone, we can hardly improve.

Get uncomfortable. And find solace in it. Only thing we should get comfortable is our sleep. Everything else is just going to distract you. I feel the same for the variety of things in past.Not that I look back a lot of life has been changed and improved over the years.

I agree. People need to change and sometimes, you have to do what is uncomfortable. That tends to happen when you don't know what will happen and people just need to adapt.

Growth or evolution can indeed only happen outside our comfort zones. Sometimes, it paints a different picture for me when adversity comes my way. I tell myself that a growth opportunity has presented itself and it's time to work towards it :)

What a great message. It's crazy how life can flip you around and change on a dime for sure! How we react to all those things is really what makes the difference I guess.

Being uncomfortable at something and still having the mindset to pursue it for me is called DISCIPLINE. That's how a legend starts.
