Hey, Hive family! How are you all doing? I hope this blog finds you well, happy, and healthy, dear reader!

I am writing this post with so much gratitude in my heart. I have recently concluded a trip outside my hometown - one I took with my family! We went to the famous tourist attraction in the Philippines: Boracay Island.

On our second day while in the island, we were all so excited when the sun finally came through amidst the dark grey chunk of clouds! Hurray🙌 We all hurriedly went near the shore and took as much photos as we could - because the day prior to it there was no "sunset" as this one since it was all gloomy the entire day.

My journey towards spiritual enlightenment began amidst the rigors of pursuing a doctorate. This academic endeavor, demanding and structured, ironically mirrored my spiritual quest. Both journeys were complex, requiring patience, introspection, and a deep understanding of the self. It was a revelation to see how intertwined my academic and spiritual growth were, each informing and enhancing the other.

While the world rushes by in a blur of haste, find your strength in the calm, steady journey of self-discovery and spiritual awakening.

I soon recognized a critical error in my approach: treating spirituality like another box to tick, another achievement to notch. This overachieving mindset, while beneficial in academia, proved detrimental on the spiritual path. The more I pushed for enlightenment, the more elusive it became. This relentless pursuit led to burnout, leaving me further from my goal.

It was then that I learned the importance of patience in personal development. Spiritual awakening, I realized, is not a race. It's a journey of self-discovery, requiring time to experience, reflect, and grow. This realization marked a turning point in my approach. I shifted from being goal-oriented to becoming more receptive, allowing experiences to unfold naturally.

This transformation in mindset was profound. I began to appreciate the journey itself, not just the destination. In doing so, I found joy in the small moments, the subtle revelations, and the gentle ebbs and flows of spiritual growth. This approach, relaxed yet attentive, facilitated a deeper understanding of my inner self.

Reflecting on this journey, I've come to see that the path to spiritual awakening is unique for each individual. It's a path of learning from one's experiences, embracing introspection, and fostering self-awareness. Rushing this process, or approaching it with an overachieving mindset, only hinders genuine progress.

In sharing my story, I hope to inspire others to embrace their spiritual journeys with patience and openness. Remember, some processes, like spiritual awakening, cannot be rushed. They need time to unfold, revealing their wisdom at a natural, unhurried pace. This approach not only enriches the journey but also ensures a more authentic and meaningful awakening.

In our quest for quick results and instant gratification, especially in this digital age, we often forget the beauty of slow, deliberate progress.
