All-Yellow OOTD for a Sunny Vibe in this Gloomy Island! 💛🌴

What's up, Hive friends?! Happiest Friday as well! ♥️

As I have shared a couple of posts back, the first day in the island of Boracay was very gloomy. The dark clouds seemed to be enjoying its overcast huhu. So this cloudy and gray "mood" encouraged me to wear something bright and literally "bring sunshine" with me!💛✨

Here is a little Story-time hoping to encourage you all: I've had a hard time accepting my body because growing up I was always told I was "too thin", to the point that my prayers at night were always focused on gaining more weight. It was crazy. Fast forward when I had work and was able to make decent money that I started gaining a few pounds here and there, and of course people would tell me I was "too fat". It was ironic that the thing I have always prayed for was something I did not now want - just because I listened to what others have to say.

It took a really long time (lots of prayers and reading books and listening to podcasts) to come to a place now where I can say that I have a healthy relationship with my body.

My body is amazing because it makes me do lots of things and I can say "I am strong in my body". I embrace 100% of me - all the flaws and scars and things I thought are "ugly". I am confident in my body because it keeps me healthy. As I steward it well, it takes care of me back.

I hope we can all learn to be more gentle and loving to our bodies - no matter the shape, size, height, weight. Regardless of whatever. Cheers to embracing all our curves and imperfections! 💖
