LPUD: How To Power-Up My $LEO As A Newbie

One characteristic of a leader is that "he is a pacesetter." Once a pace is being set, it's easier for those who follow you to have a clearer and easier direction. The aim of setting a pace is not a way to cup feed the followers but to rather give them a blueprint on a path to follow.
Amazingly, I had a "pacesetter on hive" who guided me through the way #hive is being operated, showing me the processes to upvote, comment, reblog and make quality posts. With that, #hive was looking easier to engage and assess.

Leo Power-up Day (LPUD) is getting too close and because of drastic growth in the #leo community, we have some newbies who would like to know how LEO users operate on the #lpud event.

What is LPUD - Leo Power-up Day?

First, one needs to understand an event before he can participate in it. So, as the name implies, "Power-up" it is a way of stacking up your #leo tokens so as to help boost your financial status and the #leofinance community in general. How does it boost your financial status? We know #leo is one of leading worthwhile token in #hive and because of its growth, we have lots of investors coming in to part of this project. Therefore, staking your #leo is what we mean by "Power-up." Furthermore, this Leo Power-up is slated for a particular day - 15th of every month. On that fateful day, we call it the "Leo Power-up Day", this implies that for the month of August, the Leo Power-up Day will be on the 15th of August.

Also, LPUD is always an amazing event where #leo users gain some rewards for stacking up #leo token; once the conditions for sharing your #lpud experience is met, some stakeholders in the #leofinance community will reward the winners with huge LEOs.

How Can I Power-Up My LEO Tokens?

Since #hive has incorporated new features in their interface, we've many avenues to get this done.
A few of them include: Leofinance and PeakD interfaces.
Using the #leofinance interface, it is easier to Power-up your #leo. However, there are moments when the Leo tokens you possess don't meet up to a particular amount and you wish to swap other second-layered tokens to get #leo; yay! This is made easier using the tribaldex interface.
With tribaldex, you can convert your second-layered tokens to swap.hive then convert the swap.hive to Leo token. Recently, tokens like $cent can be swapped to Leo directly.

How to use tribaldex to swap second-layered tokens to LEO:

Once you've signed up to your tribaldex account, on the nav bar click the option "Pools". In the "Pools" environment, you'll see the transaction options.
The pictures below show the step-by-step method to carry out the transaction.

First step: Launch the tribaldex platform.

Second step: At the nav bar, click on the "Pools" option.

Third step: At the Pools environment, make sure you on the "swap" environment.

Fourth step: Select the tokens you wish to swap, oftentimes swap.hive to Leo is used.

Fifth step: After selecting the tokens, you click "swap", the question then pops up, you click "yes"

Sixth step: After the transaction, a "successful" message will appear.

NEXT:

After swapping the tokens to $LEO, you Power-Up the token in the LEO interface.
If you wish to use the PeakD interface, make sure you click the "stake" option.

However, one thing that affects the transaction is the keychain. Make sure your hive keychain or hivesigner account is well connected.
