How the banking system frustrated my day

How would the banking system of Nigeria frustrate my day?

It's advisable to scrap out anything called bank when planning your day in Nigeria. I'm writing this out of anger and frustration regarding what happened to me this morning.

Just like a responsible person you will have to write your schedule for the day which I did, consequently, things are not the way it should be because of the poor network in commercial banks. This banking matter has been over stressed before now in all social media platforms yet there is no improvement.

What happened?

I had some certain transactions to make with my friend so that I could use the money to run some of my immediate needs. Quite ok my friend made the transfer yet I didn't get any alert; he sent me a screenshot of the successful transaction - as a good friend I thanked but told him "I'm yet to be notified." Thirty minutes became an hour from an hour it's already three hours away, "no notification."

I actually don't like the protocol of laying complaints to banks. That is why I try as best as I can not to fall victim to any bank issue. But as for this case, I think I would need to write to their customer service on what just happened.

This has happened severally to people yet the government is carefree about the whole matter. Soon there'll be a change of government, how sure am I that things will get better? Nigeria keeps recycling the old leaders to be in power ignoring the new and vibrant generation to dominate.

Just as my fellow citizen in #hive @josediccus said , how technologically inclined is the new government? Will they be able to embrace this #Crypto era or will it be a past story in Nigeria?

Where are we driving to?

I know how easy and flexible it has been to run transactions on #web3 platforms like #hive, #binance, etc. (my fellow Hivians will agree with me). It's disheartening that what I wanted using the money to do has been postponed till tomorrow because I passed the deadline for the day.

Nigerian government should wake up

Most of the citizens in my dear country are productive and outstanding in various technological innovations yet the leaders are drawing us backward.

I just hope that #crypto won't be an illegal transaction in future (if at all hasn't been already).
