Walking after the rain is ideal for hunting (¨FungiFriday¨)

How happy to be again in the company of my friends from this splendid ¨FungiFridayCommunity¨ :  We are having a relatively rainy spring, as I write this post it is starting to rain, and as everyone knows, this situation is very favorable for the development of fungi. A few days ago, and after a big rain we went for a walk with my wife, we like to feel the fresh weather, the aroma of the plants and the wet earth, although we have to be cautious and bring repellent to scare away the mosquitoes that They are revolutionized by the movement of the branches by the wind and falling water.

By the time we arrived at the property the water had been completely absorbed by the earth, and slowly the sun began to appear between the branches of the trees, and thanks to that we could see something small of color striking among the leaves of a plant, up close we could see that it is a small tree that has an exquisite red fruit. Some time ago I made her name known, here we know it as ¨ñangapiri¨, known scientifically as ¨Eugenia¨ ¨uniflora¨ : A plant that develops very well in cities like ours where the climate is hot

After the maintenance they are doing on the property, we have discovered new paths and plants that were previously covered by the foliage of the trees, and today we took one of those paths that we have discovered. I don't know if it was a coincidence or if we were destined to come across this tree that caught our attention with its fruits, and thanks to that we discovered this beautiful variety of mushrooms at the foot of the tree. This is a species that I had never seen before, for that reason I had to resort to our web tool ¨Googlelens¨:  to try to identify it

The ¨google¨ page identifies it as ¨Clitocybe¨ ¨nebularis¨:  To tell the truth, I don't know if I chose the correct variety, since the page gave us several options, and I chose the one that was most similar to the mushroom we found. As you can see, the hat has a strange shape, there is a lot of similarity to that of a “human” “kidney”, from what I could see its thick stems, it does not have a ring. If you regularly follow my posts you will remember that I am always complaining that in my city mushrooms do not develop, something very different is this specimen, as you can see it is much bigger than my hand

In the last photograph you can clearly see the irregularity of the cap, the thick stem, the lack of the ring, and the shape of its gills. Every time I discover a new variety, I feel enormous satisfaction and I am excited to participate in the challenge organized by our friend @ewkaw ¨FungiFridayContest¨:  I love this slogan because I can show you the photographs we take with our camera ¨nikoncoolpixb500¨ I'm not sure if it's a type of edible mushroom, but let me tell you that it has a soft and fluffy texture, and I think it could taste great in a meal

What a substantially sized mushroom impressive in shape. Berry is very high in nutritional value, sounds like one to pick and make jams with.

Hello dear friend @joanstewart good morning
It is not very common to find such large mushrooms around here, this one has been a real surprise.
There are many ways to eat these fruits, one of them is processing them as jams, here liqueur, burning water, jams and jellies are prepared.
Thank you very much for appreciating my post and the great support you always give me, Have a wonderful weekend

I have seldom seen massive mushroom like this, I know there is one here in our region that is simply delicious!

Simple little berries often make the most amazing supply of foods or drinks, enjoy your weekend.

That is a lovely and huge mushroom. I don't know how anyone could be sure if what they find in the wild is edible or not. There are so many that look similar and I would not want to get sick from being daring enough to eat one. lol

Hello dear friend @sunscape, good morning.
It is not very common to see large mushrooms around here, it is the first time that they have developed a lot.
It's true, there are very similar mushroom tangos that you have to be very careful if you plan to prepare a revesta with them.
Thank you very much for the enormous support you give me
May you enjoy the weekend

Better know as Pitanga, Surinam cherry, Brazilian cherry. I have not tried it so far.
